I’m surprised we have heard nothing from AP. I’m also surprised the the sp hasn’t tanked. There are two reasons I can think of to explain that 1. Behind the scenes people know we will get the licence or 2 the market didn’t believe we were going to get it anyway, so it’s not priced in and the current sp reflects all the other assets we have.
What is the next step if the licence doesn’t land next week? Is there a line in the sand where Ap will say sod good relationships see you in court? Or are we totally powerless?
I agree, explains why the sp held up well. Bodes very well for next week. I had expected a sell off but someone was doing the mopping. I’d be very surprised if there’s bad news on the way.
Mr c. If you go back a few months he did criticise casp. You could tell when he was fully in because the ramping was constant. Him and cc are cut from the same cloth imo
I just think they will notify the market as soon as they receive the association, which I would have thought will come by email. Hopefully we will find out how leaky we are shortly.
no one knows how Brexit will pan out. That in itself is the problem. You can’t plan for the future if you’re a business if you don’t know where we’ll be in 6 months. The other factor is we are over due a recession and this sort of thing is the ideal trigger. Just need Casp to perform then I can sit being smug:)
I almost invested yesterday but my family experience stopped me. I have 3 children and none of them watch any tv. I did a loft conversion last year and set it up so they could have a tv in each room like I did as a teenager. I still haven’t bought the televisions because none of them have been on at me. They are gaming on pc’s or looking at their iPads. My wife and I watch a bit after 9 but I think that is more down to habit. What with Netflix etc I just think revenues for advertising are going one way. I used to love tv but I think it’s day has gone.
A strong dollar also works in our favour when it comes to converting profits back in to £. I’ve repositioned my whole portfolio away from £ earners. I can’t see the next couple of years being good for uk. I think it will be a no deal and the markets won’t like that. I think it could be good long term, but markets hate uncertainty and we are bang in the middle of it.
Caspian really needs to get a move on. We have now moved on from Brexit to the other big topic of the day when does autumn start. Without news god only knows what next weeks topic is going to be. I’d like to suggest the pros and cons of non biological washing powder.
Piscio we can ignore the bp licence as much as we like the market won’t. If the licence doesn’t land in September we can kiss goodbye to .6. The 30 days aren’t up yet so people are prepared to wait. A further delay rns would hit us hard. If it is delayed I will be sending emails regardless of what Ap says enough is enough.
We have little to no cash, as evidenced by the recent raise, no Bp licence. The market expects us to get diluted to get these new licences off the ground. We have great potential but it needs realising.
