The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
AEG, setting themselves abysmally low standards which they regularly fail to live up to since, well, forever it seems.
Let's hope so, there's been a long enough wait for some positive news and progress. Near term revenue needed to really stoke the fires.
Everyone's waiting for news to give us something to chat about!
So the 29th then. In two minds whether to make the trip to attend, currently living outside the UK so feels like throwing good money after bad the way this has performed. I hope to get further news beforehand, that also encourages some upward movement of the sp. Otherwise, perhaps we could come up with a list of what we expect to hear, so those that attend can then play bullshit bingo ;)
Yep, unless there's some unexpected positive news we've just got to sit back and wait for revenue to set the share price on the road to recovery. All longer term holders are bitterly disappointed in how this has turned out but unless this goes belly up completely, this must be the nadir. I'm in the acceptance phase now.... :)
Soundsrich, cheers and good luck to both of us with our other mutually held stock!
How long do you think another 5 wells would take, 12-18 months just won't cut it :)
BBN, I'm very much inclined to agree, it's just the last time I got optimistic about chariot it came back to bite me! The more one looks at the deal, the more it does look like a great bit of business.
Sound energy has just put its Moroccan, Tendara acreage up for sale which includes the TE-5 Horst discovery of .65tcf, it'll be interesting to see what offers come in and what value is attributed. It requires a 120km pipeline to be built to tap into the Maghreb pipeline, from memory the estimated cost of that was circa $100m. An Enagas consortium is going to take responsibility for FEED.
At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised to see this dropping into the .2's when the results are out. Darkest before the dawn? Let's hope so. Hope seems to be all I have left looking at the value of my holding.
If Chariot can forge a decent relationship with the Moroccan gov, if they haven't already, then things could happen relatively quickly. The Moroccans are very keen to become energy self-sufficient so will look to expedite getting to production.
At last hku! You never know, if there is actually some progress to report you might be able to afford a frame to mount it in!
Fingers crossed.
ScoutS, I believe NFL is a gentleman that had tried a similar project in NF prior to AEG, he was not successful and passed on his negative experience and voiced his very strong opinion that AEG would go the same way. Unfortunately, there were one or two very vocal and aggressively positive posters on the board at the time which led to less than constructive exchanges. Rather than a sensible debate, it became a bit of a slanging match and I admit to feeling some of NFL's post came across as rather enjoying AEG's failure. The 'rampers' conveniently disappeared around the time of the last fundraise when it became apparent they may have had some insider knowledge. I hesitate to give NFL's actual name as I believe that should be up to him to disclose on a public bb even though others have used it in the past.
As for Nagy, I think he just believes he knows more than he does. I'm heavily down, as are most I should imagine, this is revenue or bust as far as I'm concerned now, I sincerely hope those that are still appearing to be very positive are right. History indicates otherwise.
Good weekend to all
The company said they would only release news once final testing results were known, to release anything now, which could be subject to change would not be prudent, nor are they under an obligation to do so. In my opinion.
Good news. Plenty more to come.
We need revenue asap, no more platitudes or potential, actual revenue. Time to deliver.
The CPR's are certainly what I'm expecting next. A decent upgrade in resources would be a great boost.
Might we see the updated CPR's first? Be nice to see this above 5p as a base on which positive news continues to fuel recovery.
Aeg news and an increase in the sp, who would have thought it?!
A few more weeks of this please before the next news. Steady as she goes.
Rift, I don't think people are doubting the potential of the asset. Indeed Morocco is very keen to become self-sufficient in terms of gas, so this is an ideal time to be looking to take this on, I think the doubt is more to do with how the company will handle it given past performance. I hope the acquisition of this licence marks a turning of a corner and fortunes.
Rift, Thanks for engaging in a reasonable manner. The posts I referred to were in the past, before the recent rise, Chariot has seen false dawns in the past and the scepticism shown by myself and others was, in my opinion, a reflection of that. I stated this is a good deal for Chariot and I hope they've turned a corner.
TSP - I need to get a grip? Ha, says the person who can't help but reply to themselves five minutes after their previous post with another little outburst. Where did I say only negative posts? I think I said it was nice to see a balanced post earlier. Anyway, I have my shares here, tucked away, waiting for it to come good, you carry on, your last two replies tell me enough about your personality and character. I've no wish to engage further, good luck with your investments. (including Chariot)
