Likely as they don't have any idea when it will be done and the "screening" is people logging into the online banking and manually crediting the tally account with the money pairing the unique codes.
Bet I'm not far off the mark there.
I'm quite irritated with the delay as they credited my tally at the highest price it had been in hours. I sent money on a dip. They said in t&c that the rate is set at the time money hits account, but it's a lie. It's the price at the time they credit it. I have been checking charts, and also it's plain to see when it took a day to credit my tally account once as the price was wildly different to when I sent the money. This needs fixing asap. I want be able to accurately chose the spot price I want to pay, not send money in and hope for the best.
