They are barking up the wrong tree with that. Nobody cares about tally as a unit of currency. It's used to buy things in Fiat. Transfer money to other users using pounds, not how many tally etc

Tally is great at what it's great at. It's not a currency though. Nobody is going to ditch all their accounts and just use tally.

Well we know the IPO isn't occurring anytime soon, buy the crowdfund was apparently ready to go but waiting on app2.

I would have thought they would have had all the arrangements nailed down seeing as they had extra time. It's March in a couple of weeks.

It was all ready to go last year apparently but the app for delayed. OK, but that would mean crowdfund really should have been ready and waiting to go straight away. But no. Silence again.

I have said for a while they need to stop referring to it as a currency. It isn't. Nobody uses tally to trade. Nobody really gets on cares how many tally equal how many pounds. What people care about is their balance increasing and using that increase to spend or save.

I think the marketing is all wrong. If they market it as a savings and easy access gold platform it will sell. Nobody will get the message about full reserve currency.

Maybe others feel differently but that's my feeling and the feeling of those i have spoken to.

I'm under no illusion about the chances of a buyback. It's clear as day they can't afford it.

In fairness apple the tally account is a good thing.

It isn't a new currency whatever they want it to be it's a supplementary account that fluctuates with gold. It's made me a decent profit over the past year. It has its place, but that place ain't the replacement currency they are selling it as.

Though I agree. A share buyback would be wonderful.

I'm still confused as to where the real asset company fits into all this. We don't own them as far as I can see? We own trac technology, a separate company, now tallymoney ltd.

Anyone shed light on this? I have been trying to figure it out from rns and companies house but can't. To me it seems the real asset company is still a separate entity run by Ralph.

CP has a massive problem with focus. He has none. He flits about from company to company as director and from company to company as CEO.

Just look at his work record past and present.

Short end is relist is "post summer" and crowdfund should be starting soon as delayed for V2 launch. V2 is out now however.

As always take with a pinch of salt anything the company tells you.

The biggest driver will be influencers. Like or loath them they do have reach and a whole host of sheep that follow their every word. Get some onside with tally and watch the numbers grow.

Going off the community page it's us lot and some people that were trac customers that got ported over. I don't think many others are using it.

That being said I did convince a lad at work to sign up. Few years younger than me, probably around 30. Seemed impressed and was talking about getting his mates signed up too. So you know, once they actually start marketing we should hopefully see an uptick.

They are going to use the crowdfund to raise awareness and use the money for marketing. They did say they will be looking to use "influencers" (can't take that term seriously)

I suggested over on the community page that they create a bug report channel, which they have!

So it may be a good idea for people with issues to use that channel to let them know of their issues and how widespread they are etc?

Yeah it works fine for me on Android but has some UI bugs that I reported to them yesterday, though it seems the major bugs on Android are specific to a certain Samsung handset.

There has been a fair few bugs over both platforms really. Good case made for actually beta testing before launching.
