Aston Martin's current debt level is around £1.1bn at a time when the global economic cycle cannot be viewed as poised for substantial growth? Their investment is in an ICE SUV when the current theme is more for the new EV's? Nothing against AML btw just comparing the background of the two businesses.

Shoelord……...so Aston Martin have got away around $200m towards building a new SUV and for general working capital. They are already in debt to the tune of $1.1bn and betting on a new £150,000 SUV during a market down turn? Seems a good bet to me...…...

Thanks for posting the email from MC nero. Mark seems to be taking some time out there to explain the capital raise and the financial structure of the deal. Interesting that he points out how little of Calibre the existing shareholders are left with. I wonder how their sp will respond once it's back to market? And is he indicating that he would not want existing investors to be left with so little of the pie....albeit bigger one?

Thanks for posting the link to the presentation 1750. Seems they are now referring to their other projects in Spain again. Were any plans disclosed on what is to be done with these? Was aware that Shearwater are the partners for some of this, but this doesn't seem to fit well with what SWG are currently doing?

Good points nero…...as I posted, I think that Calibre have paid over the odds at this stage for El Limon/La Libertad. They have much drilling to do and quite some time before they can bring these mills to an attractive AISC. Don't know whether you have looked at the presentation from the gold show, but I think his slide/numbers have been pencilled in by a numbers man to sell this to his shareholders. Much of course depends on how the price of Au moves in coming year.

Not sleeping here, but have been for many weeks. The next week/ten days we will see whether this can get back on track, the type of new trial required, the potential for a new partner with funding and a high chance of all the aforementioned plus a share price of 10p plus. Currently very high on my watch list.

Not sure about others thoughts, but Calibre presentation worth a look in my opinion. Lots of comparisons re price paid for El Limon/La Libertad, rates of production, AISC and potential for more/higher grades to develop. I am asking myself is what they paid good value, is CNR better placed, would $100m better be put into La India and surroundings?

Myo…...I am sure that DMC will have encountered such aquifers before as an internationally renowned operator? Yes the risk is there, but these guys thrive on such challenges.

All the while CF and the team are now investigating new options for the funding and better ways of bringing out the Poly4 in a profitable manner for shareholders/employees benefit. In the background there are several 'partners' in waiting, watching progress, engaging in conversations, checking the numbers ( and the risk ). CF has given all of us a sign.
Then one morning when we least expect there will be an RNS. That RNS will breathe new life into the company and bring smiles to all our faces.
I've averaged down massively, whilst tripling my holding and will be atiently waiting for the day.

John.....I don't think that a full breakdown of costs is in the public domain and yes the 500m does seem on the high side. Note that the article says that the funding does not include the full fit out, so the figure could be much less.

Surely an injection of much less, albeit with added terms, would see the development through to a stage where bonds would again come into play?

CF referred to a "major sponsor" and in my view this becomes a more serious option, particularly if one has been in discussion since the difficulties in getting the bonds away arose. Financiers were happy to take warrants in addition to the bond rate, but JPM didn't like this as perhaps they wanted first dibs on that share in the business. Clearly an equity stake is what the "major sponsor" needs and I am happy with that as with a reasonable average in here, the resulting rise on rumour and actual deal will imho put me nicely in profit. Obviously in the short term the sp will be messed with and an eye needs to be kept on ii's and their movements.
It is good to see that progress is ahead of schedule, sensible to review the mine development with an eye on reducing both risks and costs, plus the possibility of producing some Poly4 early via the TBM.
