Correct masaimara, the new shares are fully factored in. Covid will end. This is a brilliant recovery play.

Nothing confusing. Rights priced in, funding sorted, vaccines rolling out, TUI benefiting from pent up demand for holidays and in prime position to do so. Those who claimed it was going to £2 did not, and often still not understand that ex rights was last Friday. There is no more adjustment to be made for shares hitting the market. That's done and dusted.

I see TUI holding this level and improving from here, subject to no more bad virus news.

Agree. On barclays if you don't take up the rights they simply lapse and you don't get any benefit. Unless you take them, they are not yours to sell. It's as simple as that.

I am with Barclays.
You need to go to corporate actions and confirm the number of rights you want to take up.
If you really wanted to, you could sell the equivalent number of your main existing holding and make an immediate profit that way.

However I will keep main holding and rights. Overtime Barclays will merge these into a single position reducing your average.

Looks like stable from here. I think the drop on ex-rights day on Friday was a bit overdone also. The new shares where priced in on Friday.

The vaccine was always the only way to get out of returning lockdowns.
Some may not have noticed it, but we have miltiple vaccines now, and in the UK alone 2.5million people have already been given the shot. And that's the BioNtech one, imagine how quickly it will fly when the az vaccine is available in every gp surgery in the country.

As a rule of thumb, companies are valued based on a 10 year outlook.
If the lockdown's extend deep into 2021 that would be a negative, but on a 10 year outlook, its a drop in the ocean.
What do you think will happen when the 100 million strong holiday starved middleclass of Germany and the UK will be able to go back traveling, with the saved up lockdown cash? And how many alternatives to TUI are there in the package holiday business? TUI is well placed, very well placed.

I see lot of disappointment from from people who are surprised the price is as high as it is today. Many were hoping for lower and are now trying to talk the price down.

Lads, its a FTSE250 company, you cannot influence the price with posts on this board. Get real. From this point, now that we have ex-rights date behind us, it will move up or down with the rest of the tourism industry.

Really doubt we would be trading at 350p today, and folks buying all through yesterday if traders were expecting anything near £2 at the end of the month.

The reason for the fall was that I invested in bitcoin and argo last week, at the highest possible entry points. I do apologise, but all of my investments have to be under water immediately so it was a given this would drop. I do apologise but it was entirely predictable.

Why would we need to wait for the shares to enter circulation to find the true value? Pay attention, we already know how many new shares will be admitted! It's common knowledge, it's in the public domain.

In my opinion, as this is now ex rights, the ri share have been factored in the sp now. The adjustment occurred on Friday, hence the sp today is mostly level. People have to understand the ri is common knowledge. If traders expected such low sp's as have been mentioned here, believe me we would already be trading at those levels. People here think they have some kind of insight into the future sp based on experience of other ri's, and that the market is somehow lagging behind. Really??

Ellllltelin, this is exactly my view too. Its logic. But markets are not always logical. We will see what happens. Shares were bought on Friday. One would wonder why if its a given that the share price is sure to drop to such low levels being mentioned by some.

Y11 - you think it will take people the weekend to know this? This was known weeks ago, and most traders knew exactly what was going to happen long before yesterday. Hence my feeling that the ri is largely priced in at this level, but we shall see.
