People die of deseases all the time. Haven't checked, but I am guessing the common flue is a bigger killer than covid by some margin, and that doesn't have an effective vaccine like covid does.

Markets can be irrational for some time. I not saying it can't go lower. It always can. But some of that money people saved (which is a lot) will find its way into the holiday sector because people have been stuck on this island for too long and want to get away.

Same here, disappointing in the short term, but this is still the nr 1 holiday company. And I know from myself and friends that we want to get away and have holidays abroad again. ASAP. The pent up damand is huge. People have saved lots in the last two years, and they will be spending it.

If there isn't a rebound tomorrow I will be buying more. Covid might be with us, but it's nearly harmless already. Imagine where this will be in a couple of years. I don't care about tomorrow or next week. Folks want to get away, the pent up demand is fenomenal. Folks are yearning to get back to Greece, Costa del sol, Egypt etc.

Its bottomless. But often with RI's the SP will fall to the issue price, and sometimes below. We were lucky so far in the Easyjet IR. Thats worked out reasonably well.

Yeah the cruises in my opinion are never going to turn TUI around. Luckily that's not the main business. The flights, hotels, tours and various costly add ons on the other hand are. I have never understood how cruises made money with so much staff, maintenance and fuel required.

I will happily tolerate a temporarily lower sp in return for a healthy balance sheet that will help boost the business when we inevitably open up again in full.

I will take up the rights, and forward sell my existing holding. No brainer. Instant profit.

Almost everything is affected. I work in construction and lead ins on anything cement based are hideous. Roof tiles, paving slabs etc, all mega long. Also insulation, metal, glass, skim, resin. Labour is also tight, and rates are sky high now.
Roofing battens have doubled in cost since beginning of the year.

I am sure what ever is currently being built will end up costing more, and take longer.
Thats going to affect housebuilders. Thats why the slide I think.
