All depends on your timeframe of course, but I think travel and tourism will have a strong comeback. I cannot forsee more variants, even more viruses, but I think we will be OK. Of course a meteor might strike tomorrow and he will say I told you so.
On balance my opinion is we could be back in the 1000's,in the not too distant future. But what do I know. Less than panther pat obviously, because he is very certain of his predictions.

Pat, your lengthy post are boring and most of it is scaremongering based on very poor research.
The truth is easyjet are one of the best placed airlines to take advantage of the forthcoming travel bonanza. But most airlines will shortly see much more business,, not just easy.
Covid is yesterday, I would say the majority couldn't care less anymore about it. We are bored of it, and we are going about our daily lives as we were before the pandemic. It was a farce from the beginning, and omicron manifests itself as but a mild cold at its worst.
Travel will become very very profitable business in the next few years, hence the broke rating.
By the way broker ratings are over a 12 month period, not a few weeks, but you knew that already pat, didn't you.

Easy have a massive brand compared to flybe and set themselves up well with plenty of capital to expand in the near term. Dept is low compared to other airlines, so that's not an issue. Barriers for for market entry by others are high, so competition is none to speak off.
