Yes and British companies should be banned from doing any business in the EU, and not be allowed to buy any EU businesses. British should just be British, for the British, and only in Britain, and nowhere else and especially not in the EU.

I drip feed constantly and I never sell. When a stock tanks like VOD has, I stop drip feeding until I see a sustained improvement, but I never sell.

Seen a lot of post mentioning the monster debt VOD carries. Everyone realizes that the debt has reduced a lot, even if its still big, its a lot better than it was when the sp was a lot higher.

Depends on the starting point. Germanies economy motored ahead while I'm was stagnating, made a slight pullback more likely. Their inflation is a lot lower than ours.

Check out DAX vs FTSE performance and you will see how far behind we are, largely because of the Brexit disaster.

Its a domestic bank. All they should be doing is making money from the difference in the interest they charge and receive. What else do you want them to do?

The divi is being re-based to save money to invest in green infrastructure projects.

Whilst this is a hit for income seekers, it increases future earnings, and thus higher divis.

If a business does not invest any profits in itself, it will just be left in the dust.

See most other FTSE stalwarts that didnt know what to do with their cash and are paying divis but destroying capital.

Fact is our stocks have done poorly, and EU stock have done much better. Thats why we are here is it not, to make money with shares?

Also we should stop iconic British companies from buying foreign companies, because it is a disgrace that good British businesses get diluted operationally and culturally with the influence of these foreign companies under their control.

Has someone compared the FTSE100 against the DAX index? EU recession or not, our FTSE is trailing so far behind, its cringeworthy.

Even with a recession, the EU is doing way better than us.
