Right now, the only disappointment for me is the like of news on Serenity, it was Q1, then Q2, Q3 and then definitively news Q4, i know things change, i know its O&G, but this can has been kicked so far down the road its untrue.
Maybe we'll hear something constructive when we get our next results update!
Toxic - well that sums up nicely the air of this forum today.
Ive nothing personal against HFB, and read many posts over time, but the sheer number of posts in the last 36 hour period isn't healthy, far from it, if this is your only source of fun and entertainment then carry on, but seriously i just cannot for the life of me see hows its healthy for anyone to this degree.
I think thats a fair assessment Bolton.
Most people must feel the same i guess, the numbers all look positive, the known knowns are positive, the potential (Nigeria and add Canadian drills) are positive, yet the share price is in decline. One would normally expect its CEO to front up and explain to current and future potential shareholders what sunshine the future holds, but ours has gone missing.
It may of course be deliberate as he wants Cuda for as little as he can get away with, but its a dangerous game to treat shareholders with contempt, which right now he appears to be doing.
I think most would like to stick two fingers up and walk away, but the assets we own should undoubtedly see this rise and quickly, but we are in AM's hands, that is the frustrating reality.
HFB - i dont know what you do for fun or how you spend your spare time, but i reckon your have written more (often repetitively) on COPL in 6 hours, than i had to obtain my Masters degree, isn't there a golf course/fishing lake/shops/cinema/brothel etc near you?
I'm sure in time it will Tony, but right now the media will pump this scare story to the maximum self benefit. I imagine the Daily Mail editor is already trying to work out how he can link the new strain to migrants crossing the channel.
Therefore a bit of short term resistance is likely.
Personally i dont see it like that at all.
I suspect it is as it say to develop the Canadian assets. We know there are additional drills planned, and its got to be sooner rather than later, they want to borrow against that, thats what growing companies do. It maybe Serenity is done alone, but with the success and BOPD they are getting in Canada, i'd be staggered if that wasn't the prime target.
Wow i've made the top 20, i only posted twice in 6 weeks and neither of them were positive remarks.
I dread to think what goes on in the mind of some people, if thats the kind of thing to excite you, i'm afraid you are stealing much needed oxygen from the planet.
Tony,
I'm normally supportive of your thoughts and suggestions, but surely contacting the board about something they have already done, is as pointless and fruitless as it gets.
We are where we are as they have been looking after No 1 not its investors, we have had a substantial rise and could and should have more, but the excess shares and a degree of mistrust does remain and consequently the journey to growth will be slow and cautious.
I only have 2 people on filter that i know hold shares here (or claim to), both because i couldn't believe two people so anti the company would hold shares, between them they have contributed a third of the posts today.
This is their wet dream, a bad day and people beginning to get dragged in.
