Haha Coggy I have been going hard on the tinnies since Xmas eve. Work has been crazy so haven’t had a chance to sit the wife down and tell her a story. All the right things are happening in the background, except the delisting which I hope is only temporary, or even beneficial.

Half of my shares are in a Sipp. Assuming that, unlike an ISA, they can’t be moved out of the SIPP wrapper due to being pension funds. Still showing but zero value. I have had no communication from AJbell either so I will call tomorrow! I would appreciate any advice/comments here before I speak to my broker please? Cheers

Well done for learning your lesson so quickly, Rainbow. I am a slow learner unfortunately. Although I would argue that £1k spreadbet is heaps less risky, ie less to lose, than sinking £200k into an AIM-listed share.

Because they do. I was way over leveraged on NUOG on a sb with another provider and looking to increase my position using extra margin due to profits. They told me don’t do it, close because a placing was definitely coming. I said I heard that on shite prophets and it’s rubbish - I chose to believe the bod who said no more dilution. Next day, placing, 30% down, sb wiped out and ended up owing them money. Next day “we did warn you”. Haven’t spreadbetted since. I was properly addicted. A degenerate.

I feel for anyone who can’t meet any margin calls, especially due to changing the goal posts. I know the feeling of owing money to the bucket shops and it is sickening.

I also sent the below email just after the suspension and had no reply either. I suppose they are getting constantly bombarded by PIs...

Scott I did the same with GKP. It’s awful mate. I now don’t tell any friends or family what I am invested in and certainly never make any recommendations! Much less stressful! Good luck all. Hoping for some clarity tomorrow. If we delist, it’s not the end of the world. Our shares will remain and I am still confident we will see good value for them
