Under the rules he needs to offer an amount not less than his last purchase price in the last 12 months.
Not sure what that is off the top of my head but its more like the high 30s to low 40s.

20 has no significance apart from its a small psychological barrier. This held 30 quite well for some time so really 30 has more significance here.

DEBs had 19.08% stock on loan end July hopefully a coming short squeeze there. I think Marshall Wallace will report that they have closed out later this eve might give the others a kick up the harris.

We could see a massive short squeeze here as the shorters following Odeys lead decide to maximize profits and close.
There was 19.08% total stock on loan at the end of July18 so thats a whole lot of shares to buy back.
Should be back to high 20s here very soon.

Ok fair dos that trade over the bid was interesting. I think Marshall Wallace might have closed their short last week which could show later on shorttracker ( 10 million buy after hours last week )

probably have to wait until after the bell to see whats really going on. But 1.2 million shares sold in just 3 trades doesn't look good to me. I also don't think Sports Direct can buy DEBs as well as HOF 17500 extra staff pensions liabilities and 90 stores to deal with already I don't think they want more. Even rumors on the radio last Friday about a DEB HOF merger.. it stinks.

Big sells on DEBs too. I think with the news and speculation todays rise is rather weak.
I see the Sports Directs HOF takeover as bad for DEBs so I am now going to sit it out.

Its about rinsing the emerging markets to keep the ( economy ) show on the road.

So Sanpower get £90 million after EY's no doubt reasonable administration fees ?

Surely the equity there is worth a big fat Zero as they went into admin and Ashley bought them out of it.
Bondholders will not doubt get a few pennies to the pound.

Probably best to ponder the Enterprise Value to compare to the £90m

Of course it could be, it could also be a sell but I think on balance of probability and price its much more likely to be a buy.
