Yeah I've read that too its funny how the global elite would broadcast their intentions in advance and even give the approximate date.
I think the Central Banks have shown they are willing to do whatever it takes to prop up the economies of the world as their jobs and everyone elses depends on it. So QE4 raise rates just to lower them again and more bond buying in 2019 and beyond. INMHO

WRONG again, the market is pricing in some more uncertainty, copper price has tanked due to Turkey, trade tariffs and Dollar rally.
No shorts showing yet so your shorting theory is unproven too.

I was pleased to see Odey increased as it fits with my speculative thoughts.
Odey will NOT close at least not until the bitter end whatever that is. With the profits hes made on his SPD holding he could let this go back to 50p no problem. Btw I see LastCall has been banned.
The question is how much of the other shorts closing will he soak up ?

The numbers I quoted are from euroclear (dot com) ( you need to register )
Its the total stock out on loan collated monthly including positions under 0.5% which the FCA and hence short tracker and the like will display.
Its a lot more complicated due to financial instruments and the like its also not a net short position as FCA reports.
