I think it would take 4-5 plus shorters at 0.49% we won't have the stock on loan figures for another 10 days so I can't say its not happened since the end of July but I doubt it. The absence of shorters here I thing is very telling.

Still no short positions over 0.5% and still no holdings RNS changes.
So drop looks like mostly P.I. driven panic selling to me.

Excellent so are they going to start flogging pizzas now as well... great idea but not those DOM ones yuk the box tastes better.

I will put it on my watch list but I am still bullish for Petrol/ Diesel the energy density per KG is very high and there is already 2 billion ICE vehicles in the world needing fuel. No commercial electric aircraft exist yet.

I don't think we are owed an RNS but one with more detail would be welcome.
Any payment made or deal completed must be RNS'd as its a material change which could affect the shareprice.
Making a mistake is a different thing to misunderstanding.

So you understand reasonably well how things work but you thought the cash had already been paid ( without a Feasibility study ) and you also think when the cash is paid it won't be RNS'd

More research required I think.

I think the article was stating that of the 90 million Ashley agreed to 85 of that was for stock. So if he can flog that for anywhere near that value the business was almost free !

Have you contacted Investor Relations to ask them to put out a statement to re-iterate/ clarify the deal. Your right I think there are a few points which need clearing up.
The 2 ish % stock on loan figure for end of July I referred to is including positions under 0.5% its everything on loan which is why I mentioned it. However I guess you could still short then buy back the shares with algos to keep it down.
I will have another figure after the end of August but if its not over 5% its not much in the grand scheme of things.

There will no doubt be some shorts but I don't think the number is significant. This in itself tells a story. The total stock on loan and the end of July was only just over 2%. So the drop here I feel is more sell off related, or some good old fashioned manipulation. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a predatory bid at these levels.

Sounds more like a hydrogen or other Gas fuel cell. So does in convert gases into electric ?
