It does look that way, lots of bearish news about with 3 consecutive crude builds and now possible OPEC break up !
Fuel here is hedged so it wont affect this year or next but it could help the sentiment here.
Perhaps one of the chartists can tell us where the support is for Brent so we will all know what price we will see the reversal.

Market makers don't add up a number of small buys until they get 1,000,000 or 4,500,000 shares then put that through those are specific buy/ sell orders. They sometimes do the opposite and break up large orders so the market can absorb them.
We know whos selling but we don't know whos buying. I think if it were just P.I.s we would have seen the SP decimated down to the single pennies rising a falling a huge amount over the days like the pump and dump speculative stocks all do.

Despite being it being mentioned on here that used aircraft are worth 'very little' and 'can't be given away'

Oil is $16 down from its recent peak. A good sentiment driver for oil users, although as all the keen researchers here no doubt know we have over 90% of our fuel hedged at a very good price for the next year.

The 'day traders' have not shorted this down to this level. So all they can do is make the price fluctuate a little. It will end up where it ends up.
