To make a market possibly but I think there is more to it. To make money no the 11,00o share trade is only £1k they made £50, then had to RNS the trade. I believe an RNS cost them £160 !

Anyone know the actual reason why the house brokers / market makers buy and sell stock,
on Flyb 11,000 shares bought then sold same day then 120,000 bought and sold for the same price.
I think Liberium might have made £50 on the 11,000 shares trade.

Are you saying that the Landlords are that highly leveraged LTV that the loans will be called in if they have even a blip re rents not increasing as predicted. What if they have any void periods ?
Did the Landlords and Lenders agree financing based on the fortunes of Debenhams alone ie. if Debenhams goes under or needs a payment holiday the Lender will call in the loan ? All sounds a little too precarious to be a business decision ?

I hope not how are they going to pay ?
If the acquire more assets expect the shorts to go up and the SP to go down as per this increased risk.
PMO has assets to sell, Zama, SeaLion not the other way around !

Agreed I think the risk there has increased massively ! The credit card acquirers wanting more cash deposits incase they go bust could be really bad. They could hold them to ransom. I'm out with a 25% loss.

I hope your using the total stock on loan figure as the 'shorts' it was 16% at end Oct 18. Then double it for negative sentiment, negative newspaper articles and stop losses.

He doesn't have access to stock on loan what he means is he has a CFD or more likely spreadbet with a broker (usually a bookie based in Cyprus)

The papers are fed stories as they don't have many proper jouralists anymore. They are spoon fed the stories by finance professionals or shorters. Conflict of interest much ?

I don't mean to temper your enthusiasm but even a short squeeze will not cause a 1000% increase. It could double quite quickly just on that but thats all. Have a look at Ocado going back and Debenhams right now to see examples of this. Please tell us you won't buy 500k more shares unless your an insider you don't want to be risking that.
I know of some people who have put £1m or more in just one stock its generally been a nightmare for them as its just too stressful even the ones who have made money.

Besides odds on the individual who bought the 2mill after hours already knew about this £5m deal so they must have thought it was a bit positive.
