Your welcome, I'm no accountant either but it looks like as you say they have made a profit but its cost them in debt and cash in order to achieve it. If that makes sense.
A new CEO with a good track record as a turn around specialist would double the share price here in short order. Seen it happen before !

It is there mate in the half year results net debt increased and net cash decreased, theres your cash burn right there.
So they either need to get some financial backing quite soon or take out the axe and cut cut cut !
Its truely spectacuar Flybe has £750 million revenue and they can't make a decent profit, the CEO needs to go !

I see our good friends at Marshall Wallace reduced their short here by 0.18% to 0.9% on the 19 Nov ( probably at around 79-80p )

I can't help noticing the volume has been quite high this week especially the buying, over 10 million bought every day except one.

Spot on looks like some of us have done our homework.
Black rock reduced but we have a new shorter WorldQuant 0.5%
I think they short purely based on market fluctuations hence the Quant part.
Lets hope they are surprised this time !
