Where do you think the SP of Shell will be with lower for longer Oil ? The answer is lower than now !
Have you seen their debt pile ? With interest rates rising and revenue falling (your scenario not mine ) Shell could fall lower than the previous low.
Don't fall into the trap that a large divi payer is no risk. Look at BATS and Imperial Tob. Or General Electric.

Well said Sir. I actually walked straight past Micheal Palin not so long back he was heading towards Lidl.. he didn't go in. I also had a golden opportunity to run over Bob Gheldoff ( which I didn't take )

My understanding of it is that its Algo programs. Sometimes its just market makers to keep the liquidity going.

I lost about 98% on MIRA a while back so could be a good shout at todays levels ( or perhaps not )
I haven't sold by the way so I suppose its only a paper loss !

Crude oil contracts are 300 odd thousand net long, have a look on the Nymex where are these bearish positions ?
