It was mentioned on radio this morning ( by a previous British Army General I believe ) that US pulling troops out of Syria will mean Israel and Iran will now fight for control of the skies. He went on to say the US will have to re think its policy as soon as January. Any thoughts on this ?

Your so over dramatic, where does it say the word 'serious' and what profit or covenant warning is not serious.
It means it needs the banks to play ball or they won't get paid and they'll end up getting pennies on the pound and having to sell a fleet of old vessels. Banks like repayments not 2nd hand ships.
