The 4th Jan was the last day for input into the CMA review. So I think they are allowed to talk about it and give some pointers after that.
The SP held £10ish for a long time so expect it to return there sharpish.

Perhaps every post should start with. Don't buy any of these whatever you do but I think based on my research that the following will happen...
But I wouldn't want anyone to sell at this point either after such a large drop, the time to sell was early last week or at some point in the future when the price has stabilised.

If that was the case why would Premier Oil be the one with thats heavily shorted (13%) while Enquest has a tiny amount of stock on loan ( 2.6%) ?

The missing shares as you call them would have been trades made at the mid point between the bid and the offer so they are not reported as a buy or sell.
I noticed yesterday that buys were showing as sells including mine.

Its got to be getting close to where the shorters are out of profit now. They were still shorting this in the 70s

I think your right, Good jobs report and wage increases, China Trade talks also reported today.

at $57.5 now. DBNO did tell us it was bye bye to the 60s but I think he meant the other way.

So it looks like from the holding RNS the funds AXA, BlackRock and Old Mutual are in at about 6 to 650 ish.

Not many shorts here so I guess we need some fund averaging down to shoot this back up towards a fiver.

For context Enquest was only 2.62% I find that VERY interesting.

Wow total stock on loan was 13.37% end of Dec.

I knew the shorts had helped take this down but that's just brutal. Going to be some rise when they all decide they need to close !
