Those Brent numbers will do for north of 140 this year. But as I said I see 3 very large drivers which could see a POO spike probably up in the $90s

I don't think it was foolish at all what was the high you would have been offered on your total holding about 81 ? If your at 55k at 82p what will you be at when this hits 140p again ?
I think we should start with a Brent target / prediction and work from there. The way I see it there are 3 massive drivers in 2019 which could see Brent surpase the $86 we saw in 2018.

I think its worth pointing out that when the Chevron assets were put up for sale (July 18 ) our share price was over 120 and market cap at £1Billion. So its likely then that PMO would have discussed an RI with bankers while looking at buying some ( maybe a couple of hundred million $ of the Chevron assets ) It was also reported on Energy voice Premier were looking at the assets with ( private equity backed ) Chrysaor not on their own.

I was only referring to how the two buys of 214,500 shares were displayed where I was looking, not about other trades. So my take on those was that they were paired trades where the MMs matched a buyer and seller.

Thease Jornos are fed stories by ( as it says sources familiar with the matter ) so that could be anyone who has an interest and some slightly insider knowledge. They don't have time or resources to fact check or investigate. The Times article as I described it was a hatchet Job using scary words like £1.5Bn 'Cash Call' ' preparing to tap shareholders' 'Rights Issue' 'placing' and worst of all 'Tony Durrant' It goes on to mention that our shareprice was 500p !

They have a long CFD for 6.99% of the company they are not showing short above 0.5%
How would a placing or rights issue benefit their position ? It would mean their CFD they just bought is worthless !

That sounds good a bid of $1.5 billion bid for NYSE-listed oil giant Chevron. I don't mind a Rights issue for that.
Chevron has a market cap of $215 billion so they might need to up the offer a few times.
