Premier Oil has an Enterprise Value of $3 Billion dollars, do you really think anyone ( Apart from The Sunday Times ) could 'ramp' that up or down ? I really think there is a big difference between holders discussing potential positives of a stock and non-holders trying to spread fear and descent amongst nervous PIs.

If your looking for someone to blame as to why the shareprice is where it is blame AHL and Whitebox. AHL are INMHO responsible for the regular 3pm smackdown. Until one day when they will set the machines to buy.
It looks to me like Brent might want to visit $64 quite soon so that should work against them.

The RNS released by PMO effectively said nothing why would they show their hand to the other bidders or like someone on here suggested even tell them an upper $ limit !

In short, 1. OPEC cuts going too far and Shale decline due to debts, high breakeven and WTI down at $50
2. Low Sulphur rules for shipping fuel in 2020 means increased sweet crude demand / stockpiling
3. Challenge to the Petrodollar with gold backed PetroYuan ( Russia-China Iran and Saudi )
