I don't think the raise will be announced until the results day. Some of the shorts are closing. They managed to drop it way too far. Expecting it to close close to 1400 today.

The afternoon is where the rises have previously taken place. There was 12.5% stock out on loan on Euroclear at end Dec. Read that brilliant ( 'I'm short and 6.7k up / closed short now ) post on MTRO board when I asked him about how hes got access to stock on loan. He said selling his own stock is the same as being short !

Thats brilliant so you weren't short at all you just sold what you previously bought. Being short is selling someone elses shares.. Thats quite a big difference.

The FMR Holdings RNS shows a percentage stock on loan. Thats where the short detail was.

Increased their short last week AHL Partners LLP 2.01% + 0.09%

Metro Bank
Interesting couple of holdings RNS this morning !
New 5.15% holder and FMR's 3.1% stock they had out on loan reduced to 2.41%
