Brent could retrace to $63 but that does not mean Enquest would drop back to 18 again. Its perfectly possible that Brent could fall to $63 and Enquest could stay in the 19s or even push through to the 20s. There is not an algorithm that works out the value here based on what the 1 month forward Brent price is trading at.
I also think you are probably wrong re the $63 I think $67 Brent is coming soon.

A slow SP recovery and ( good ) results due, paper profits slowly reducing. Those sound like good reasons for shorts to reduce to me.

INMHO the long Brent and short PMO trade probably isn't happening right now as the net longs on Nymex are really quite low. Hedge funds probably waiting until China trade spat has some resolution before going long again.

I just wanted to make the point that people saying Magnus is worth $500m which is less than market cap are missing the point. RKH and PMO are down today.

The market works on Enterprise Value, the market cap is just the value of the stock. So Enquest is currently valued at comfortably over $2Billion.

As you were talking about shorting with CFDs can I ask you too have a look at the Goldman Sachs holdings RNS's on PMO. They have a very small holding ( about 0.5%) which they keep trading and about 6% long CFD. Can't understand what they are playing at and shareprice keeps getting hammered ?
