I don't object to a buyback program taking full advantage of the low SP, just as long as the divi program is given equal weight

One might well speculate that the divi payout is being held low to aid the favoured buyback program?

Lloy could easily have issued a 0.5p special alongside the 2022 progressive divi (as they did in 2015 &2016) - Would have gone some way to make up for the withheld/cancelled 2019 divi - but Lloy chose to divert available funds to the buyback program

Compare amount allocated to the Divi program v the Buyback program last financial year - blatant bias towards buybacks
