I know there's a lot if negativity right now but back to 10p represents a 20% upside from where you buy in today. I think too many people on here talk about £1 and buying Aston Martins which is all crazy stuff. Trek family quoted £5 which was always ridiculous. Ask yourself will this share price of back through the 10p threshold within 12 months? That's 20% upside. Depends on your greed level, I am perfectly happy with 20% return thanks and firmly believe it will go over 10p within the next 12 months. Forget the Aston and look at making a return and not the get rich quick route which rarely works out.
Let's assume we don't even get a drill this year but are HE1 going to drill again? That has to be a yes, or they may as well fold now. They have some cash runway, some smart people on board and a valuable asset they are chasing. Investing at these low prices, say to yourself will I make money at some point over 12 months on this investment? I am betting yes and just bought a sizeable chunk. It doesn't matter to me if it drops further, I am betting that within a 12 month cycle I will make far more money than my bank are currently offering. It's high risk / high return and I have placed a bet it will pay off.
I am enjoying watching the SP rise after 6 months in the toilet but the infamous Trek £5 per share prediction always brings me a chuckle. Better days are to come but no one should order the new car just yet. Respect to DM for sticking with this, he has taken some pretty heavy flak with people openly mocking him on Twitter. I really hope HE1 comes thru and hits the motherlode.
I had a similar wipeout experience with Helium One HE1 over the last 6 months. Share ramp peaking at 28p and then an almost overnight crash to 6p, Rather than panic sell I stuck with it, bought heavily at the bottom to lower my break even and by a sheer miracle have just managed to break even today after 6 months of looking at huge losses. Helium one have zero helium, just hype and hope. Omega seem doomed BUT with King gone, he was hopeless, there won't be an instant turnaround but I will hold my shares rather suffer a huge loss. You only really lose when you sell or the company goes bust, a possibility here but that's shares. We all know the risks.
Couldn't explain what the "MC" means could you? Sorry for my ignorance. I have loads of shares in Polarean (70, 000 to be precise) but no idea what the significance of today's announcement was. I got a notification from Polarean alert service and was hoping it was something to do with FDA but instead don't know what they are talking about. Any info you share?
I just took a wild gamble and loaded up with another batch of shares. Will feel fairly foolish if this goes wrong but that's shares for you. I am hoping a target date is just that "target". If we get the news we all want then I will be feeling this has been a great investment. Fingers crossed for everyone. Anxious days ahead.
Just wondering... IF we get to drilling next year, TAI-1 disappoints and eats all the funds left in the bank, SP tanks to 3p BUT all the evidence points to Helium elsewhere in the licence area how the hell does DM raise funds? I really want HE1 to succeed and won't sell any shares, I will hang on, but as a company with zero revenue and overheads something will have to give sooner or later. A merger or a takeover likely to help us investors with an SP raise? Love to know if anyone can shed light.
What a refreshing post from KeithOz with some proper scientific explanation and knowledge.
Enjoyed that, thank you. We have to face facts this share is likely just going to sit around 8-10p for at least 4 -6 months. There is just no appetite for it anymore. The hype has gone.
Although many will see today as a disaster I view it as a good opportunity to lower my break even.
Was on at 8am sharp trying to buy at 5p but no chance. Bit of a dead cat bounce going on up to near 9p now but I expect to soften and settle to 6-8p for a long time. Most of us have never seen such a low buy in price and come May 22 it will look sensational so have faith and hold if you have the patience
