Warrants have been converted to raise £157,500 and that cash has been used to pay off the remaining loan notes. The only downside is that now there are 1,600M shares in issue.

The 0.20p was when it was due to be delisted and no one was very interested and hardly anyone bought more than a few hundred £'s worth anyway. I bought in when the deal to keep it listed was announced at which point the share price was about 0.50p. I let them go at about 0.80p for a small profit but rebought the next day at nearer 1p and still managed to make a super profit after the meeting. I did though sell the lot purely because I thought that the management should have released some details of what they had planned at the time. That hasn't even materialised yet.

It is just not proper procedure for the 2 directors not to have announced what they had in mind - and that should have been done at the time they were appointed. Such silence is beyond belief.

Really poor effort by 2 appointed directors not to have given any kind of a plan of action since they were appointed and still nothing from them the day before suspension. This is not the way they should have played this.

I'm glad I sold out straight away at the end of July for a massive profit and I have not been back in since - and that is because I was quite simply waiting to hear what they had in mind for the potential RTO - and now it looks like maybe they haven't got anything in mind at all!!!

Yawn, yawn, yawn. Wake me up if they hit any Helium as I might get back in then. Otherwise, I'll be back in at 2p for the second drill. This first drill is a 50/50 shot or maybe a bit less on a discovery as the previous 2 Tai drills were both spectacularly unsuccessful!!

Incredibly exciting to some though - especially if you are on a big enough salary!!

This is the expected reaction on spud.

Whether it's the depressed market to blame or whatever, the share price and m/cap have been substantially less than in 2021. Then the m/cap reached as high as £144M pre-spud while in 2023 the best managed was around £80M. On spud day it was £126M in 2021 while today the m/cap is just under £60M.

Maybe Noble Helium are also dragging the valuation down as well as their m/cap is still around half that of HE1's.

It'll be a shame if we are only going to depend on Noble Helium for any share price success here!!!.

Assuming that the share price is going to fall on spud, as is fairly usual with these wildcat drills ( 2 previous wells at Tai, neither of which have been a success) then the late placing and lack of a pre-spud rise haven't left the share price anywhere to go. We are only slightly above the 6p placing price. Will that hold? unlikely I feel.

It doesn't say that they intend to keep the market informed at each stage. In fact, they say the opposite:

"The whole process from spud to completion of logs and initial analyses is expected to take approximately four weeks, after which the Company will make a further announcement."

Also, Lorna Blaisse, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"We look forward to providing further updates once TD has been achieved and once the logs and initial analyses have been completed."

Looking at the lack of news and updates from the management over the past few months I'd say we are most likely to be completely in the dark during the drill.

Spud at last, though there has not been much of a chance to de-risk before the commencement of drilling which is a shame.

The share price could hit 20p on a successful scenario or equally 2p on a lack of success scenario. Looking at the 2 previous drills at Tai, one of which had possible Helium shows but very poor hole conditions and the other good hole conditions but no Helium shows, the latter is probably the more likely outcome. The real difference though is that in the event of a successful outcome the share price will probably open at 7p/7.5p and gradually rise to 20p over several weeks whereas in the event of a poor result the share price will no doubt open at 2p. Oh dear, and with little or no chance to derisk first.

Looking at the previous drill results from Tai it is just as well that they have a second drill planned.

No new shares have been bought.

I can't believe that this ultra popular share, yes the share that is number 1 on the Hot Chat list time after time including today, hasn't been above 10p for the last 16 bloody months. That is pathetic.

And while we are at it, because a share doesn't attract this many posts without being ramped to death, the second drill in 2021, Tai-2, which was mysteriously drilled and completed within a week, failed to find any Helium at all. Zilch, not even any possible gas shows, so that shows how little the management knew at the time. What has changed? Apart from the management? Oh, and a bit more seismic, but I expect they had plenty of that ahead of the first 2 drills anyway.

This is far from a foregone conclusion, as unfortunately most of the posters on here seem to be taking for granted. We could see 20p or we could equally see 2p. Best of luck.

Worryingly last time around at the exact same location the drill team were aware of the poor hole conditions from as early as 70 metres.

Extract from RNS dated 21st June 2021:

"Due to the poorly consolidated nature of the Lake Bed Formation encountered at Tai-1, it will not be possible to perform drill stem tests on any pay zones identified in the shallow strata in this well. This is to remove the risk of hole collapse during flow testing and ensure that Tai-1 can continue to test prospective closures at depth in the Red Sandstone and Karoo Formations."

There will be just as much danger and worry of a hole collapse with a bigger rig. That won't be any different. To be honest if the conditions are exactly the same then there might be little point in continuing the drill (once it has started obviously) and they might be forced to pull it out and go on to the next well. I wonder what that would do to the share price???

"For those that haven't bothered with the facts the drilling will take 2 weeks and then it is a week for logging and a week for sampling so we will have news before long."

Funny how in 2021 it took 5 days to reach just 70 metres, another 3 weeks to get to 550 metres and a further 4 weeks and 8 weeks altogether to reach 1121 metres. It may be quicker this time with a bigger rig, it may take just as long and it may end up with the same result. And worryingly they still did not have any positive indications of free gas even at the 3 deeper shows.

This is no foregone conclusion.

Basically it is going to be up to 30 days of drilling and then an announcement to say whether the bigger rig has managed the poor hole conditions. Any delay to the 30-day schedule will be unfavourable.

But then Noble Helium might just make a discovery with their first drill and the SP here might rise to 20p!!!!!

I tell you now, if this drill fails due to the same poor hole conditions, the share price will be nearer 2p, and that will only be due to the market giving the second drill a fair chance.

David Minchin, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"Thinly-bedded sands in the uppermost Karoo that we were able to log have no indications of free gas. Petrophysical analysis indicates that these helium shows are associated with gas-cut-brine or 'fizz-gas', which is formation water saturated with helium. These were the only helium shows that we could reach with wireline tools. Deeper show intervals identified in thicker and cleaner sandstone units of the main Karoo Formation were not logged."

I hadn't read this before, or not for a couple of years, but it turns out that the shallow helium-enriched gas shows were nothing of importance. I was possibly expecting an early rise on these same shows but it looks like that won't be happening this time either.
