This sounds like one of those 'too good to be true' deals but if they do manage to sign it then the share price will multi-bag by many times. Let's all hope it will come good.

Not sure about the use of capital letters as there was nothing new announced. Previously the market was told on 18th September that:

"The Company therefore intends to sign a service agreement with the Sudanese government within the next few weeks with a view to increasing oil production on the Bamboo oil field."

Despite hearing nothing since, today the market is informed that:

"As previously announced, Wildcat plans to sign a specific oil development deal with the Sudanese Government before the end of the year".

So the deal is still on - it has just slipped back by a few months.

I think seeing will be believing!

I am quite amazed by the complete lack of interest here. Is there something that newbies don't know about, skeletons in the closet or whatever, that might explain the lack of trades because I think that this is a cracking JV which is going to get this business moving very quickly?

Especially with the 'electric vehicle charging infrastructure' as part of the plan - there is a big demand for more of this at the moment and it is a subject that is getting a lot of media attention.

Still no buys - that's odd. I was thinking this might open up 25% or so.

"Over the 30 month investment period, the JV intends to create a modern roadside portfolio worth over £250 million through acquisition, asset management and development, including opportunities across the portfolio for electric vehicle charging infrastructure."

Get CCS sold and they might want to renegotiate for a bigger percentage.

"On Sunday, Sky News reported that Barkby had decided to sell CSS to focus on its roadside real estate assets portfolio, with a potential value of GBP50 million for the Barkby subsidiary."

I thought that looked a good RNS. They have found a massive partner who will get things moving fast. Barkby Group might only own 3% initially but that can go up to 10% and at least it will be a percentage of something that is happening.

But all I can see no trades, only a few posts and very little interest. How odd.

Never mind, October will be better......

That's the worst month of the year since January - remember the bad weather. It is just so difficult to see how production can fall despite all the cash that has been chucked at these producing wells. They could have spent the money better on new wells in the new deep discovery!!

Only idiots will keep on about the events of last week now. The share price is back where it was and the management have been made to look very silly. Matter closed.

Personally I cannot see this back to 4p soon, despite that being my average. The share price rose to 3.5p in the week or two before the approach but was falling back. I think that the news due in November could see that 3.5p high exceeded and 4p or higher may be reached then, but not before.

If they announce a discovery maybe the share price here will 3 bag as recently happened at Pantheon. That would be good.

Maybe go to 1p. We might have to wait for the official announcement though.

Seems like there are a lot of newbies here who don't know what happened at Tai-1 and Tai-2. Mind you the share price then was 28p, for a m/cap of £168M, compared to today's 5.5p and m/cap of £52M so at least the market remains cautious this time around. And at least there will be less of a fall in the event of failure.
