You missed the point of the RNS which is far from boring. Apparently, "Word on the street" was that SOH had been hospitalised for 2 weeks but was now well on the road to recovery; the Company really should have released a RNS to inform the market of the fact but obviously took an opinion it was a private matter. Irrespective of whether you believe it or otherwise, and the price collapse on no news suggests an element of the market did, what this RNS does is state SOH is well enough to be working again at least in a part time capacity which is significant in the circumstances. I also suspect that Opti may be rowing back on supporting a GM vote against Steen but need to publicly state that as they have previously said they would vote against the Board. The recent updates from PBX are also very positive and will help to sustain a recovery in the sp and by default the value of Opti's significant holding

That's the issue WTFDUK? There are folk that DK the reason for the recent fall and the better news to come and hence the tick back up I would suggest. About time the Company issued an RNS

I suspect if you dig into the £314K Consultancy fees that at least one director is partially/mainly compensated via this route

Price now at a point where worth buying again on a risk reward basis. Whilst the value of the PBX holding has collapsed, SBTX holding has a realistic chance of bagging on Croda forecasts expected this month or next at the latest, and there is still a chance sweetbiotix launches at anytime. Dr Morepen launches in November and will generate some revenue although I suspect Opti will need to generate some cash to contribute to marketing costs to make it a big success

The problem is he faces a vote of no confidence which he will lose but as he wont resign then the cost of fighting the EGM, holding it and then the subsequent payoff of Steen will wipe out a large chunk of the cash raised recently meaning more cash will need to be raised at a time when his mate will no doubt dump his holding

While we wait for the Croda forecast and second acquisition news, let's not forget the quality of the acquisition already in the bag

Still jam tomorrow and would like to have seen firmer short term forecast figures for deals such as Morepen where the wording is NOT the same as previously announced in Mar 24 with the £6-£7M now not before year 5. Mar 24 Dr Morepen announcement RNS stated that “ OptiBiotix will receive revenue for both the ingredient and BTB product sales with first orders placed for launch in Q3 2024. A reminder of Opti’s forecasts given May 24 at the Investor Meets Presentation; Yr1 = £1,459,350, Yr 2 = £3,274,781, Yr3 = £4,976,384, Yr4 = £6,491,371, Yr5 = £8,114,214, to be frank I would have preferred a forecast of over £3M by year 2 in the RNS rather than a figure at least 5 years away if of course it still stands

October/November will see the release of the revenue forecasts from Croda and then it will be a question of how high the sp rises not if so hang in there.

The poor wording of the last RNS that failed to make it clear that it was second tier Croda Customers receiving the lysate for the first time in advance of the April wider launch, rather that the 12 or so VIP Customers that have had the lysate for over a year and hence will be launching sooner rather than later, hardly helped to inform new investors of the potential here.

No idea BK and I suspect no-one does either. GM will now happen, Board will lose and probably the man whose judgement saw PBX floated on AQSE and then head hunted Steen will act as an Interim, sounds like a lose lose to me

No real surprise to see Zak Mir negatively attack TW's biggest shareholding after TW wrote to AQUIS about Lift Global Ventures run by Zak Mir. stating that his business model was to take payments from companies and then, without declaring these payments, to offer supposedly impartial journalist comment promoting the shares.

Wouldn't disagree with anyone's reason for voting Steen out, but as the dilution has already taken place and at least half of the money raised was undoubtedly required to keep the lights on over the next FY, you do need to pay heed to the cost of this action. From the Nanoco accounts where a similar GM was called (but subsequently failed to remove the Board) the cost of the action was Requisitioned general meeting was £0.5M. Now as the PBX action is likely to succeed you need to add the considerable compensation payments to Steen and fellow Board members which will wipe out most of the funds raised and I would suggest require a further fundraise

TW has never said he was selling his own shares but has stopped recommending others may care to sell theirs. Basically, now that he accepts the RNS was badly worded, VIPs have had the lysate for over a year as stated in the Nov 23 Results RNS, and hence will be ready to launch in advance of the main launch of Apr 25, his bear case has disappeared. I suspect only pride and stubbornness prevents TW now recommending SBTX as a buy. His downside risk is that SA messes up the finances on a second acquisition resulting in a second hugely dilutive fundraise to stop the company running out of money in which case he sees the sp halving to 5p whilst his upside forecast is for the sp to multibag between 4 and 20 times, well I would take those odds all day especially as we have been assured by SA no more death spirals

Who said there was a years delay in Croda income? Suggest folks chill and await next month's Croda forecasts which will be the real sp catalyst, in the meantime great buying opportunity ahead of the herd now that croda is no longer an if but a known when.

Least the news arrived on time Baz and I would be very surprised if once the overhang from the recent distressed seller has cleared if the sp does not steadily rerate from here
