RE: II buying indirectly17 Oct 2020 09:26
Chuck, that is easier said than done lol
Traditionally ii investors buy (direct) the shares in a company, they can then have a certain amount of control via nominating NED’s on the board.
They also have influence when it comes to the vote
Now indirect is similar but with the added benefits that this leading alternative fund are now joint owners of SYME via the co ownership of AZ’s majority share holding held by TAG And their holding via orchestra group, just like us pi’s are also owners of SYME due to our share holdings
Being owners they want the platform to succeed, that commitment is the agreement to acquire a bank and fund the platform with £8billion over 5 years. We will see further commitment once the bank is up and running. EG expansion to other regional targeted areas
So the main difference is the leading alternative fund are supporting and throwing their weight behind SYME in actions. Rather than just having a say because of the number of shares owned.
Big difference
Why our share price is here, I have no idea, as we have now got, As described in the banking RNS, a leading alternative fund as co owners with AZ
That isn’t any clearer is it lol
