If MMs will walk this down again looking for stop losses. Last week was so obvious. Every hour or so they would rock it down with zero trades or delayed trades reported until they 'found' sellers. They keep moving down the bid and have only once dared to drop the offer and all the sold stock was bought up. Huge spread!! It all points to something afoot. No idea which way it will go but obviously biased as I hold.

This attack happened in June and they've only just reported it!!! How many other cyber attack and data breaches just don't get reported!! Come on Falanx, give us an update on how the level of enquires has gone through the roof and you can't cope with the amount of contracts you are in the middle of negotiating which of only a fraction were to get signed up would represent a huge upturn in business and revenue for 2016

From experience in this industry, any large contract talks can get dragged out all year as buyers/IT managers are in no rush to spend their budgets. A lot of companies use the calendar year end and tax year end for their finance year end and any money earmarked for large expenditure projects get finalised, decision made and contracts signed in December & March. I wasn't expecting September interims to set any records (April to September including the usual summer holiday lull is always slow) but I am expecting results from December to March and I presume this is why KB isn't retiring until March. There may be a fundraising but directors hold too large a percentage to want to dilute themselves too much. Dibs, you're right, not a set of figures to set the SP alight but just one or two contracts and SP could be many multiples of current level with a decent revenue stream. I'm surprised the recent exposure/press FLX received during the recent Talk Talk cyber breach and the flurry of interest that created in cyber defence companies, that this couldn't underpin the SP at somewhere around 13p There was plenty of buying, a little profit taking, but most must still be holding. The Middle East is a hotbed at the moment and this is the area FLX have a good network of contacts for KB to hopefully close these deals before March, if he does, 60p will be back again.

You're right Ada, £7.3m doesn't represent the potential, KB has decided to stay on until March 2016 for a reason, he is still negotiating Middle Eastern deals he has been working on for the last 12 months. We expect to be closing those deals before he retires in March. Perhaps then a more realistic mcap can be realized. Seeing a European peer get taken over for over £90m also gives an indication to the potential if FLX could just close some of the deals they have been working on for the last 12 months. imho

Data and intelligence group Falanx (LON:FLX) expects continued momentum in the second half as it seeks to be a first mover in an industry increasingly in the public eye. Releasing half year numbers, the cyber security group said a number of contracts have been signed with UK Government departments and corporate customers since September 30. "Widely publicised attacks in recent weeks against large consumer focused companies have highlighted the risks not only of financial loss resulting from data theft, but also the reputational damage suffered when customers' private information is lost," said chairman Karl Barclay. "However, as with any industry which is evolving rapidly it will take time for large corporate customers and Government departments to properly assess the precise nature of the threat and identify their vulnerabilities. "The cyber security industry is also likely to experience a period of rapid change with a number of small specialists being consolidated into a small number of large players. Falanx intends to be a leading niche player in this consolidation." Continued investment in capability meant the firm posted an operating loss of £1.3mln compared to a loss of £709,000 in the compararble period, on revenue of around £792,000. A placing in May raised £2.49mln and the firm's cash balance as at period end was £1.2mln. Falanx’s cyber ambition British businesses are catching up with US peers on cyber security awareness in the wake of high profile hacking events, says Falanx (FLX:AIM) chief executive John Blamire. And that’s good news, Blamire says, as Falanx continues to build out its security offering for government and commercial clients. ‘We’re seeing interest in the cyber security market which we haven’t seen before in the UK,’ says Blamire after announcing results for the six months to 30 September 2015. ‘We thought the UK market would follow the US and it now appears to be, which is great for us.’ But shares in Falanx trade 18.3% lower at 11p as falling revenues and a loss of £1.3 million disappointed investors. lamire says the poor financials are a result of attempts to refocus the business around cyber security as well as investment in new services. Falanx’s managed services platform, which monitors customer networks for suspicious activity, is up and running. Value-added services, which include incident response, assessment and consulting services, are in the process of being developed or introduced. You're right, others may disagree, Thank you for your input Trader-dick, very informative. The interim results are not what we have been waiting for. I think dibs made that clear over the weekend. It's the uptake of contracts, post period statement and outlook we are all interested in. The analyst meeting at 9:30 is to highlight these areas. The accounts speak for themselves to anyone who can read a balance sheet. FLX have positioned themselves and are now winning government contracts and taking full advantage of the fear blowing through all IT departments in blue chip corporations. It has been stated in the interim statement that new contracts take time to finalise due to the complexity of the industry, it not like a 30 day drilling for oil, is there or is there any oil down there. This is a growing industry but it takes time for the big contracts to get signed and they won't always get advertised in an RNS either. The chairmans statement and outlook speaks volumes and I still put this at a multi bigger by the end of next spring.

25p is an absolute minimum and should be considered support before the end of the year. FLX was 60p just 12 months ago based on many promises from management but market got bored of waiting hence current price. These levels represent an excellent level for a medium term investment. Day trade it if you like but the money to be made here is to keep buing what the MM's will let you get your hands on and don't let go. I cant promise you 60p by June/July but we won't be far off and without the dilutive risk and usual losses made gambling on AIM explorers. Parts of the FLX group are already cash generative and making a profit. FLX isnt a gamble, its a sector which is in the middle of huge growth and FLX have spent 18 months putting themselves in a position to take full advantage and most of their peers are a year or two behind. You've had some good calls in the past camkite, what brings your attention to HWC, done a fair bit of reading back to 2005!!!! But can't see anything at the moment to suggest its about to change other than out of nowhere we have volume trades and our friend Paul Fellerman still adding. I like it when a share comes alive without news, especially when there is only one MM on it. Can make for an explosive week or two unless we get the speeding ticket RNS
