Got to say ... I thought that presentation was a breath of fresh air. Much prefer Richard to Rahul, as felt like I actually got some answers and information this presentation instead of the usual waffle.

Might not be a bad thing to not get a new CEO until the refinancing is done. My take away from the results is that it is looking very positive in that regard and think that is what is holding the share price back. So hopefully we’ll refinance by end of June rather than end of the year.

What I don’t understand is why they don’t go sort out Kenya. The government are playing games because they want something. They keep pushing back the FDP approval date date and still haven’t approved the transfer of the AOI and TE 50% to Tullow. Just load up the suitcase with cash and go sort it out. Even gifting the government a 50% share to get this moving would be a better option than it dragging on indefinitely.

Questions, questions, questions ..... but no answers. Did the RNS get released because of the news article breaking or news leaking ..... we don't know, however does seem a bit strange to release it in the afternoon the day before the update. It is pretty certain (or logical at the very least) that this sale is part of a plan and not being done in isolation. They did say they were going to simplify, so wouldn't surprise me if they use it to pay off debt and the remaining debt is refinanced in one lump. They will then perhaps try make up the shortfall from Ghana or maybe there is something on the horizon in Kenya. Perhaps we'll get the full picture tomorrow in the webinar tomorrow.

Forget their predictions have been pretty accurate so far so I’m inclined to believe them. They are also very knowledgeable in terms of Tullow so don’t think they’re being negative for negativity’s sake. We know Jubilee production is not in a good state and is the reason Rahul got the boot. The head of Tullow Ghana (Wizzam something or other) left early in the second half of 2024 too. I’m starting to wonder if wasn’t the first casualty. I think what we don’t know exactly is why the decline is happening and what they are doing to fix it. That document you referred to seems to suggest there were some issues they’re addressing. So hopefully after the maintenance shutdown at the end of the month some of the production issues will have been addressed. I’m really hoping on Tuesday we get some detail for a change (good or bad) and not just the usual waffle.

Question for you Xxnjr …. controversial one …. are you Slift? I’ve got a suspicion you are :-). I’ve got nothing against Slift, so no issues on my side. Appreciate you may not want to answer, but had to ask as I’ve been wondering since you appeared.

There's a lot of psychology in investing, however one thing I will never ever understand is how someone who holds a share is sl ag ging it off. It is very simple, if you think the price is going to drop you sell and either move on to another share you think will be profitable or buy back in lower. How in anyway shape or form you think that sl ag ging the share off is going to help get your money back. Yes, I am aware that in the grand scheme of things it probably makes no real difference, however people do read these BB's and make decisions based on the content. Positive sentiment is everything and without it, we're going nowhere.

Car for sale. Extremely unreliable piece of crap and wish I'd never have bought it...... Erm no thanks I'll pass on that one.

It’s funny. There’s always a theme on here of why the share price is going nowhere. Positive sounding news starts coming out of Kenya and all of a sudden Tullows licences are in doubt.

I’m looking forward to Tuesday next week.
