There are Two tech experts, Drummond (who owns Teathers, a dead but respected broker), Rowland (dotcom boom billionaire with aspirations of owning a huge broker firm). You also have a previous Rothmans investor and a football club owner. If you think oil or buttons are the future, fair enough, I doubt that though as the setup isn't right.

I think WSG are struggling as they aren't one year lump sums but spread over vast periods of time, which people cannot wait for. If they land enough of them they become significant. XEL - dead, really dead, for a looong time at least. Why wouldn't BP/Statoil buy them at circa £100m if they were worth multi billions? Poison pill would do jack. I have a good friend who is £60k down and I didn't have the heart to tell him. GKP - I know nothing about really, sorry. RXP - get a feel for it, hold off, I think it's still high risk. Not dead, but keep tabs.

Agreed, there isn't a great deal of cash to play with but the board and shareholders are all wealthy and successful in their own right. Rowland has gone on record saying he wants to leave a legacy and out perform his father (fair enough). He's worked with Drummond before but failed miserably, so I reckon this time they will want to do it properly and have other property magnates on board. Anyway, I honestly guess at what might happen, I've also said Lenigas is involved, I'm sure of it and that means a whole host of different challenges.

Ha-ha, If you trawl the profiles, you can see strong ties in these areas. Drummond leaving FairFX to presumably focus on this button company makes me quite excited...
