I think someone is trying to attempt a new angle - as far as I can make out - the payment side is held outside of the broker and app. Absolute nonsense but I doff my cap for yet another attempted attack on the business. Most PI's have warmed to this again after a period of doubt. Just the PLC issue looms but I have confidence it will relist.

I'm lost, is there an issue on payment?

I wouldn't bank on reputation damage being an issue, which is why I've focused on what would happen if TD opened an app? It's a shame we're in this situation because it's difficult to want to stock/app promote when you're uncertain about your own investment.

Depends on the sale value I guess - doesn't usually end well for shareholders - you're dealing with some very creative Individuals, especially as far as accounts are concerned.

That's my thinking - could take it private but I think it will lose its appeal, mainly if a competitor comes along.

Agree, Prinary bid take around 5% but of a higher amount. It's still good numbers.

I'll treat you a normal person - what do you think I've got wrong? What do you think the 25-35% commission related to? I also reall there is a lifetime commission of each pi that opens a broker account too, which I've not factored in.

1 placing a week at £100k (call it 30% to TEA 25-35% as quoted by Oli) = £30k gross profit (X 1year = £1.5m gross profit) + retainer payments of £30k gross profit from one broker. Now imagine 10 brokers and chuck in some big IPO's. Wow. Teathers becomes THE HUB for investors - add additional services and augment the marketing and it's a seriously big deal. You get the picture. All about getting brokers on board and PI's signing long up.

We're turning a corner (I hope) from what was a very dodgy start! I did some maths ages ago that pointed this miles north of where we are. I had anticipated bigger placings but a fraction of the charge. Could get interesting here very soon.
