If the report is correct, VTB Capital are looking to take a short position on KAZ. That looks well for ENRC....sigh.

It's doing me in, sat with hefty losses at the moment, waiting, hoping for a second improved offer. I would hate to be the guy who bought in over £5 and said "I'll sit the pain out" and encountered this!

I've read that but doesn't provide insight into why an offer of circa 270 has been rejected and the SP is now quite a bit lower when expecting a higher second offer. Assuming a second offer is on the cards...

No idea what's going on, but I'm seeing this out until the bitter end. I would guess that the structure of the deal didn't impress many, I for one do not want shares in KAZ.

I thought he might be pushing the ENRC bosses to take larger loans in banks he Is interested in and at the same time cash in the other side, but it seems ENRC are heavily exposed in debt terms to 'his' banks already. That said, I would imagine the business is good enough to pay them back and the further free float wouldn't interest him. Think this has got interesting, in a good way!!

That would be my suggestion. I want rid, kicking myself that I jumped from RBS to this for a quick buck. Nevermind, that's the risk we take.
