Africa Gas and Afren PLC hold 73% of the sahres between them, the directors hold 7%. There are only 20% in public hands which explains why this goes up and down very quickly on low volume. Any confirmation of a deal and this will move very quickly and tryiing to get in will be impossible until people bail out. Gonna be an interesting few days here

DOW JONES NEWSWIRE: LONDON ROUNDUP January 12th 2012 Gasol Plc ( GAS:LON ) announced that it has entered into a convertible loan facility with Banque Benedict Hentsch & Cie SA,the facility has an interest rate of 5% payable at maturity or conversion, and carries a conversion option whereby the lender has the right to call for the conversion of the loan into ordinary shares of Gasol at a price of 0.60p per share.The company have now completed the fund raising which started at the back end of 2011,and thought to be in a strong position to convert options on Block OML 114 in nigeria where resources of 750 billion cubic feet of gas (approximately 107 million barrels of oil equivalent) have been identified. Massive potential upside IMO

450k at 0.44p in 3 buys as hard to get large amounts. Been looking for a chance to average down as my other holding is at 1.4p,,,ooouch! In the past, this moved very quickly ( in both directions!!) Any positive news on OML114 and htis will pass a penny very quickly and could well head for the 2-3p area

got the 0.39 so a nice round 500k. Never thoght I'd get in at these levels with the 2 recent holding rns's.gla

It works both ways for the MM's giving a large spread. Either way, there is margin for error as they are having difficulty placing a value on the stock at the moment with very low volumn. MM's seem happy to not trade this for this reason IMO

Just wish I didn't have an average at 1p but hopefully will get back to that level at some stage this year and onwards next!

Positive report and a placing made at 20% above current share price. Can't ask for more at this stage

Looks likely to be the case. Sold half my holding at a 50% loss at 0.3p. Still got 200k and need 1p to break even. Made a few quid trading this last year so if it goes to the wall, it's one of those things. GLA...think we might need it

think you are right. I sold at a loss a week ago at 1.02p and had to pay 1.40 to buy back today as I see the same thing happeneing with any good news which we know is true. A fool for selling at 1.02 but there is bullish movement when everything else is dropping

This is the 2nd payment. They got $7.5m with the first. We still own the asset which we can recover and sell on if need be. If this goes down, I'm filling my boots! Think very unlikely with such a good farm in.Shows the potential of the asset

I posted related debt. .i.e. the debt relating to the land sold not total debt

The money raised cancels out the related debt on the land and they gain a massive house building contract. Happy dayz

Interesting read and as you say, conclude the same target price of 114/115p. The next few weeks should be interesting.
