They obviously hit a nuggety zone with their drilling to get this figure which is lucky, drilling is a bit like a lucky dip and it isn’t a representative grade of the whole mine/mineable material that’s why Alba are also taking bulk samples to get a more representative/averaged g/t from different areas, GF has mentioned they will process hundreds of tons during the exploration phase. Historically the mine averaged 17g/t with some pockets showing far less, and some pockets showing up to 4.5oz/t
Only time will tell, but clogau is only one asset on the whole gold belt, the whole gold belt being the bigger picture in wales, and of course Greenland which is one for the future too
