If/when Alba prove up the resource there will be no end of companies willing to throw money at Alba to get the resource before anyone else. the Capex will not be an issue if the resource is confirmed in my opinion

for clarity, the figures i put up were for the material, not processed into sherical graphite, this would command a higher price.

my fag packet calc would be as follows for the total value of the raw material (it is only fag packet so don't knock me)

250,000t of raw material at Amistoq @ 28% graphite = 70,000t of graphite
of which from the RNS i think it mentioned 85% was jumbo/super suitable for processing to spherical graphite
70.000 x 85% = 59,500t of jumbo graphite and 10,500t of "other" sized graphite
59,500 x 6175 = $367,412,500 or £264,325,540 (lets say £264m for ease)
10,500 x $663 (the average price of the other grades) = $6,961,500 or £5,008,273 (lets say £5m)

total rough value is therefor approx £269m split over the life of the mine just for Amistoq, we shouldn't forget the Graphite on the other island within our license

its not quite that simple as the calculation will need to include other factors such as the percentage of the ore that is graphite, and the percentage of the graphite that is of the best quality. Then we will have the extraction and refining costs to consider, but it will still be a large number

you are incorrect, at the bottom of the RNS you refer to it lists the next steps, this RNS from today confirms the results of the next steps as promised

you do make me chuckle MR008, the value of Alba will be made up of all of its assets, not just one. So far everything is heading in the right direction on many fronts

they extracted over 500 kg of quartz ore from LL010, there is obviously a reason for no Assay results, either they were not completed on time or they are a real game changer and they are going to be released if and when the de-watering permit is granted (thats my take on things) they have always stated the Assay results wil be released when they have been fully assessed, and i suppose they can take a fair while to assess if they need a second opinion lol

As I understand it the closing date for responses to the application was today, So it depends if they have had any objections from the public that will need to be considered, i should only be a matter of time before we hear either way
