My own thoughts are (outside a major bear market) low 50's - very approx.

A significant wider equity best market - near 40 pence.

All very much imv only, just guesstimates, nothing more -
so please don't shout.

Would be interested to hear other views.

It takes some skill to be handed the VZN pot of gold,
and end up just a few years later with near the current
market cap in net debt. Utterly extraordinary.

Has anyone here read the transcript, as particularly the opening paragraphs
appear to underline the risks to the SLA asset management model
which as they say, has devilered much of their growth.

The transcript is available to read on Seeking Alpha, I would recommend
a listen.

Unloved becoming loved again does not always happen,
sometimes there are structural changes in industries,
not just cyclical or sentiment reasons for sell offs.

For anyone thinking of buying some unloved stocks,
make sure they are in different sectors and you may need about 8-10 holdings.
I would also only stick to UKX, at a push MCX stocks, with that strategy.

There are big yields available on some UKX stocks atm,
but many are high yielding for good reason.

Have to admit find it very difficult to know what to do atm.
the safest bet, other than holding cash, may be very selective buying
of investment trusts, preferably following a market sell off.

The recent VOD declines must have made given many PI's pause
for thought.

With respect, some of the posts here show a lack of sector understanding.

The US Telcos are carrying huge amounts of debt, there is not one
major US Telco that would bid for VOD - at this time in my view.

Liberty are Selling European assets to VOD!!.

Right, for the purposes of this post please put aside any Brexit consideration.

Regardless of whether it's a roaring success, or otherwise, we will still
experience another recession.

Now, even if we completely take the financial crisis out of the equation,
the Lloyds(TSB) SP gets hammered, and I mean hammered through every recession
I can remember.

Ah, so I see those who are very long Lloyds and hurting,
are now resorting to post about other 'controversial' topics,
to deflect attention from their falling investment in Lloyds.

No amount of Trump talk will cover up your bad investment decisions.
