Now given Lloyds performance over the last 3 UKX bear markets
(The UKX still not even in a correction!)
heaven knows where the SP will end up when that hits.

That should have read .. yesterday, did not realise the time ).

Would have predicted the multi year declines.
On the BT board many thought it was great value near £5, then £4, then £3...

How low can VOD go?, A complete guess here ... Near £1.10 in the next bear market
would no longer surprise me. However, before anyone shouts, this is a guess ONLY,
always DYOR-. And as mentioned earlier, I bought a very small amount today.

Lol at overpaid on 3g!!, - extraordinary overpaid does not even cover it.

How are these new entrants capable of undercutting VOD
in some European markets?.

Given VOD's size, benefits of economics of scale etc.

To me this may point to a cumbersome inefficient operation.

(I'm not including India in the above comment).

In fairness the point appears to be .. spectrum auction costs may exceed
estimates over the next 4/5 years. A lot of this focus appears to be
following the Italian 5g auction.

At least that was my take.

Before anyone gets excited and suggests I've taken leave of my senses,
the two buys combined equate to less than 1% of my investments.

I've been Uber bearish on Vod for a year(posts on the Vod board) and on Lloyds.

Lloyds looks like it's still going lower imv, might have another small lot around 53/54,
if we get there.

No Buy from me, given heightened uncertainty.

That's the maximum of invested capital I would hold in Vod.
I'm nowhere near even 1% with my small buy today.

There are many reasons for caution, I've touched on some of these repeatedly.

Now whether the current SP suggests something much worse than market consensus,
is less likely - however I could be wrong! - wrong underlined.

It looks to be a belated focus on issues that were always in the background.

One of the issues with PI's and vod, is I expect many are very overweight here.

Very very small amount.

Not clicking Buy given uncertainties in Vod and wider markets atm.

Gave VOD more 'sells' last year than I can remember.

And laid out the bearish case once again last weekend.

I'm not bullish, just aware many were looking at 1.55,
which has now gone like a knife through warm butter.

Is £1.55 now arguably overhead resistance, rather than support?.

Firstly, well done on the price targets.
I was confident enough to give it several 'Sells' last year,
based on the reasons I again outlined yesterday.

What I am really surprised at, is how long it took the market to
focus on the costs of a 5g roll out.

It's not like you needed to be s telecoms analyst to appreciate the huge
costs that lay ahead, or at least have some understanding of these.
And yet, here we are today, and it's suddenly what anallysts have belatedly
honed in on.

Up to 25 LABOUR MP's to back her Brexit plans.

Hopefully a way to sideline the loony fringes in her own party.

As I heard a local businessman say last week... If the Tory party are not here to
support and promote business interests, then what is the point of them.

Johnson's appaling comments about business a real low point for me.
Sideline him and his tainted ilk.

There are hundreds of £ millions of shares traded on an average day,
no PI view makes the slightest difference to the SP.

The points I made last year, well before this significant de-rating
are now what the market is focussing on:

Net debt
Increased competition from new entrants in multiple markets
The potential cost of a 5g roll out, where is this money coming from?
Longer term dividend sustainability
Too much capital returned to shareholders following the VZN sale.
