I've seen a lot of posts wondering why this is not moving as the potential and fundamentals seem excellent. I suspect its down to legacy issues with this company and with CB, not just here but elsewhere. Many are probably saying...I'll believe it when I see it.......

Whether that view about CB is fair or unfair is irrelevant - perception is reality.

I think if this wasnt called xtract with all its legacy issues the sp would be in double figures. This could be like a coiled spring ready to bounce.

From the John Cornford article a couple of weeks ago.................

‘At the newly discovered mineralised length of 940m, assuming the thickness is the same, and copper dissemination is the same, one could say that the deposit is already 56% bigger than the JORC estimate.

So how much thicker would the width have to be to meet AA’s 2M tonne target?

The answer is an average diameter of 430m – some 2-3 times the ‘intercepts’ already found by the first five drills.

So there you have it. If the upcoming drill results show those sorts of intercepts, then punters will pile into Xtract on the prospect of 40p per share from Anglo American’

.....For AA the JORC needs to be 450mt @ .45cueq So this could be .2 copper and 0.2gt gold....

Doesnt that equal 0.35% Cu Eq?? Not 0.45%cueq

The 0.2g/t gold = 0.15% Cu assuming 0.13g\t =0 .1% copper.

So we have 0.2%cu + 0.15%cu eq= 0.35%cu Eq

Is that correct or have I misunderstood?

CB did say that.

I dont know if he meant from what he thinks he has now (ie after initial drilling so now above 70Mt) or from last JORC of 70Mt. If its x3 from 70Mt at 0.5% Cu target then that's about 1Mt of contained Cu.

Of course, what we end up with may be more than his current aim.

I believe the debate was that some said the mineralisation was not continuous, others said it was.

Sporadic can mean continual, but continual does not mean continuous.

Bushranger is important – but Xtract has more to offer than just that. Especially INCOME producing assets (soon).

If that's the case then it would be madness to try and get to 2Mt before we knew what was under Foot Rot. We could be giving away an asset equal to racecourse without realising it.

If that's the case, then CB will drill foot rot before we get to 2mt at racecourse.

I was talking about Racecourse only. My undersigning is that the buy-out agreement is with Racecourse only and not all of Bushranger.

I don't believe CB would be wanting to stay and develop any mine in Oz from what he said in interviews. So I would think he would then want to prove -up Foot Rot et al, and sell on to major (like Racecourse).

That's my understanding from listening to his interviews and his MO in the past.

The point about AA not having to wait for 2Mt is important as they may decide to move early as I believe the 2Mt threshold was determined when POC was lower. The profit could be the same now at, say, at 1.5Mt as it was when 2Mt was decided.

Exaggerated example: If POC doubled over next month would AA still wait for 2Mt? Doubt it!

Second point is that CB has made it very clear in many interviews that he wants to ' Put a big bow around Racecourse' to sell on. I would be amazed if we retained the 20%. I'm sure any sale will be for all the licence.

That JORC used 0.3% cut-off. We are going as low as 0.2% because POC is above $7500 (I would think that's the reason) . See Frog link 20.33 yesterday.

This increases the Cu contained by 50% so we are at 0.5Mt IF 0.2% is used. It is being used.

I can't comment on the maths but we only need to x4 to get to 2Mt not x6
