I suspect you are looking at Google finance. That records the sp as whatever the last trade was so if it was a sell it may be 1.22 but if it was a buy then 1.35. Thats why the SP appears to move up and down so quickly.

I would ignore google finance as its complete misleading for current and true SP. Look at Advfn which is free and gives you the real time trades and real SP. LSE also does that but its 15 min delayed

Latest date the Q4 results should be out is by Thursday next week - hopefully sooner.

Although alluvial's are running down we may see an increase in BE and GF production. If so that may start the very slow rise back-up?

If not, as NtM says, its a case of waiting for the FB income to be declared. I would think CB would want to get some good news out before the AGM as there are going to be many disgruntled SHs at the AGM if the sp is around this level when the AGM takes place.

(I'm being kind when I use the word "disgruntled" - may be f@!*#ing furious is more accurate :)

If their time scales are correct we may have to wait a bit longer than we would have liked - but super spike will happen.

I've given my timescales on many aspects before and have been hopelessly wrong every time - always too optimistic even though many, at the time, thought my timescales were pessimistic !

It would not surprise me if it takes until end Q3 / early Q4 before we are up to FULL commercial capacity at FB. Hopefully we will get an update in June / July at the bi-annual report showing good income?

I have given up guessing the timescales for the other events.

I agree with you that a buy-out is now unlikely before H1 2024.

I'm still here and hopeful of a good return on my investment because 1.3mt + a very high POC will see a buy-out at a substantial increase of current SP and probably nearer to 10p than 5p.

But when that will be is now the question and I cant see it being any time soon :)

I very much doubt that.

The motivation of those persistent pessimists is not to make a genuine and honest assessment of this company, but to spread fear and worry and enjoy watching others misfortune (when sp is falling).

I don't have the required psychological analytical skills to explain or understand why they would want to do that but I do know its not for altruistic reasons.

Maybe when you're life has not tuned out how you would have wanted and you've had many failures, your only "success" is watching others not succeed?

I don't think its just the failure of the 2mt that is blighting the mood or making some cynical, its all the many other failed time lines and outputs over the years.

All implied / stated in CB interviews but didnt happen. ie:

This wont be a death by a thousand lashes, if they offer me 10p I'll tell em to keep it, we dont need to worry about the grades etc etc etc

Many like me, will now only believe the actual results in an RNS - not words in an interview.

To be fair to CB, things are improving. He's just done an interview and the sp has NOT fallen just after it :)

I would hope its not as bad as that.

It may mean the model parameters are changed rather than starting all over again at point 1.

Completely agree.

I wasnt trying to excuse Cb's failures but point out that as disappointing the SP is , there is still an opportunity imho, to make a good return here.

Whether thats down to CB or a fortuitous very high POC is another matter :)

If Africa comment includes FB then Iceberg is clearly wrong about that assessment.

Whatever income FB produces for us, and it may well be less than CB's guidance, it will be transformational for a small co with such a low mc.

If the world recession means POC is not going reach the very highs soon, then POG will no doubt be going up inversely to POC.

What I'm not sure about is the timescales for this income - could be substantial by June or it may take until late Q3 ??

This is now a medium to long term investment imho.

I think he has but fair play to him not to keep coming back and telling everyone how terrible this investment is now - like some.

He probably realises the time scales are much longer now and far too long for him to wait , which is fair enough. His last comment was that he thought this would be economic and also said that ...

Yes, but CB said a number of times that "I'm not worried about the grades" " We know we have the grades"

I can't help wondering where the SP would be now if CB had talked about getting greater than 1mt cu and been more circumspect on many other timescales and outputs.

We may not have hit 8p, but we probably would be above 4p now.

I'm of the same view.

Bottom line imho is that 1.3mt CuEq at a higher POC will be wanted by majors but we don't know how long the wait is for POC to get to the level it needs to... but I'm sure it will eventually get there (within 2 years probably)

More drilling may well take place but the FB money should ensure we dont need to raise assuming CB goes at a steady pace.

Problem is that's not what CB implied or even said. Nothing like. The AGM in 3 months should be, ur, interesting ! His creditability is shot to pieces and no one will believe anything he says in an interview unless its RNS'd.

(Well when I say no one, there may be one person who still believes him.. waves at Dani :) )

We are also getting production info from Empress Royalty so unless the conspiracy theory suggests everyone is in on this (apart from Colin) then we will be able to double check the info from a number of sources .

Strange how anyone would use the high gold price as a negative (corruption more likely to be going on) when it would be more understandable and believable to use it as a positive for xtract :)

I'm not expecting income to be declared this month ! It may be raining now but the rainy season ends by end of March - 2 weeks time.

From April it will be 8 months of moderate to zero rain.

I agree we wont be getting £500K a month income from FB, but we will be getting £300k to £400K FCF when at full production - probably by end Q2.

£300K a month FCF will be transformational for a small company like xtract.

so far today 60/40 in favour of buys but down 6%.

For past 2 two weeks Its been moved down on very little selling.

African income has to worth circa 2p min at full production but all trust has now gone with CB so the market is saying...

"show us the money"

Until we get RNS declaring income market wont believe anything CB says imho
