HL did it for me last month - transaction was done within the day and the purchase price was the same as the sale price (just lost out a little on transaction fees for the buy/sell so came out with 2 shares less). Pretty simple process all in and worth it to avoid GCT! It'll consume your ISA allowance though so that's one thing to be aware of (e.g if you shares are worth 18k, you'll only have 2k left of your yearly allowance...)
@callit - I'd have agreed with you a while ago (when Cave led the "revolt" against TB). However, since then he's basically been silent. Not a word or a sign of anything. IMO it was a massive kick in the face to all those who showed support when he called upon them. "WE" were "there" for him when he asked, but there was nothing the other way.
FWIW I sold up massively frustrated (and a BIG loss (in my terms, not others I suspect)) a good few months ago - broken promise after broken promise. I admit I'm tempted to buy a few back now - but in all honestly I'm not sure it's worth it...
Just my opinion, DYOR.
Does the same every year if you look back over historic RNSs
Is this a turning point for the company? There's been a relatively steady stream of positive news over the last few weeks which goes against the grain of how they've worked previously....?
Nice to see though - was thinking this morning we use a holdings/directors buy RNS to stop the rot...

Congrats - I'm just about back to 50% down now (!!!) so a fair way to go yet.... Not holding out much hope, but we shall see.... Honestly never thought it'd make it back here though after the crappy job up to now. Maybe a glimmer of hope in the distance - just got to cross fingers this isn't a pump to get Volz/BOD their cash before they ride off into the hills...
(And yes I could have averaged down at 0.2p but chose not to - I'd done it a couple of times on the way down and got sick of putting good money after bad....)
Just my opinion, DYOR.
@Sharabel
I have a very long memory with RMS/NNN - back to the TB days. I don't disagree with what you're saying (personally I've bottom drawered this share so anything in a bonus). BUT coming in and saying "OMG DIRECTORS ARE JUST PUMPING THIS FOR A PLACING111ONETWOSIXYNINE SELL SELL SELL" and not considering the warrants/options at 1p and the impact of a placing on those... Honestly, can you see Duffin placing under 1p and ruining his chance at a fat wedge? Likewise volz warrants in a similar situation - it'd be suicide to pee off those guys when they're going into partnership...
Nothing would surprise me though - but you need a bit more than broken record words to convince me you're doing anything more than just deramping....
Just my opinion, DYOR
@Sharabel - how does the pump and dump fit with the 1p warrants/options for Volz and Duffin?
If you genuinely think a placing is due, surely you can give your thoughts on the above question??
Just my opinion, DYOR
@Sharebel - To repeat the question...
So lets say this is a drive for a placing - how does that fit (in your view) with the 1p warrants/options that are in play for both Duffin and Volz? Surely it'd be suicide to ramp the SP for a placing which could prevent the SP breaching the 1p mark?
Just my opinion, DYOR

IIRC Volz payment for line conversion was also in warrants @ 1p - so it's in everyones interest to get the SP over 1p. Unless the goal posts get moved again (which, tbf wouldn't surprise me...)
I can understand the scepticism given the history here though - especially as the buys themseves are pretty small in the grand scheme of things...
Just my opinion, DYOR.
Just need a buy from Dr Cave now to give things another boost... Doubtful that'd happen - but it'd be good to see....
Just my opinion, DYOR
Would be good to understand the reasons for this - no doubt it's NDA'd and nothing can be said.
We'll probably never know the background to all this either - but it'll make the UK diag industry think twice about coming forward and putting solutions out there. Why should they bother when the only reward is being taken to court (and some hollow words from gov assuring people "we've gone british")
Just my opinion, DYOR.
Feels like good news is being intentionally not being shouted about to keep the SP down... As others have said - it doesn't take much to send an RNS - even if they could argue it's not required within the rules, why would you not send one to keep the market updated?
Just my opinion. DYOR.
If (as someone else has pointed out) the 10790 (and 16xxx) orders are in any way related to Biosynex, they've been sat on the book pretty regularly over the last few weeks. Personally I don't recall seeing them historically (certainly not before the biosynex TR1s) so take their presence as a sign they're still loading..
Could be totally wrong of course - so interested in hearing others thoughts...
Just my opinion, DYOR
I was - now here for the dregs under the sofa.... Truly believe in the product and the tech. But the co really can't organise a nano-pis**-up in a nano-brewery...
Just my opinion, DYOR
@pumky - yep, I'm one of those people.
My point being, I can't see Volz accepting warrants over cash if
1 - they weren't going to get their 500k
2 - they weren't going to get their 500k + a bit more back.
1p isn't the desired end game for either party, gut feel is that both sides are expecting an SP uplift (above 1p, not where we are now) once the line is converted - if not before.
My only fear is, with the changes to the BOD incentive to a flat 1p, that there's some dilution which means higher levels of SP aren't achievable for the initial incentive plan to work out.
It's still a LTH for me - but the longer it goes on the less confident I am of getting my cash back.
Just my opinion, DYOR.
Volz have warrants @1p as well - there's a big incentive to get the SP back over 1p - both for the BOD and also from a Volz perspective. Find it hard to believe Volz would accept warrants (to the tune of 500k) if there wasn't something in the pipeline to get the SP back over the 1p mark. They must see a potential to get their money back (and more) - otherwise they'd have pushed for cash....
