Also results were for the past period, losses were for dead year. Market knows there was no business in 2020, so not much income.
Market also knows covid is being beaten, normality is slowly returning, deaths/hospitalisations are reducing at faster rate. So business is going to return to normality. IAG will go cash neutral in current or next quarter.
I think IAG is ahead of the pack due to more positive regarding vaccine and restrictions easing from USA.
If US-UK routes open then IAG will be biggest beneficiary and that should reflect in share price very soon.
Those who think IAG price is high are wrong. Stock market always looks into near future and if future business prospects are good then that should reflect in share price now.

Gb46,
Few US states have started lifting restrictions, see Texas, Michigan etc.
https://www.travelweekly.co.uk/news/air/madeira-opens-green-corridor-for-vaccinated-tourists
By end of April, around 40 million in uk and 150 million in US will be vaccinated (at least first dose)
J&J single dose vaccine rollout has just started, so that will further speed up vaccination numbers.
All vaccines are proved to be more than 85% effective in controlling spread and reducing new cases and deaths.
So there is good chance USA-UK corridor will open for flights. IAG will hugely benefit if that happens and iag will go cash neutral once this corridor is open.
TP,
Whatever I sold in Iag at 202 was bought back at 201.8.
202 is resistance line on my chart, hence I sold hoping it would retrace, but it didn’t, so I bought. Simples. There is no point fighting with markets, better to go with the flow!
Some of my positions were bought at 93p and along tha way I have added more at support levels and top sliced at key resistances and bought back on retraces which has helped me to increase my total share holding.
I will be selling at 218-225 or maybe around 236 area. That is strong resistance area and iag May retrace back to 192-200p. So I will buy back there.
If it breaks 236 and moves higher, I will jump back again. Again go with the flow. For next 2 years I am going to trade mainly in iag.
I am not here to compete with anyone. I am here to make money!
Good to see lot of people are now changing their entry point from 160-170 to 190s.
Iag again managed HH today which sign of uptrend is intact. I think today’s small retrace was expected after continuous rise over last few days.
It has bounced from 200 today couple of times, so not sure if 200 will be broken. Too early to say.
Tomorrow is another day.
EU to propose vaccine certificates for summer travel
Mon, 1st Mar 2021 16:03
(Sharecast News) - The European Commission is set to propose in March a new EU-wide digital certificate that will provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 that it is hoped will allow free travel during the summer holidays.
Brussels's aim is to present its plans for a "digital green pass" on 17 March and to cooperate with international organisations to ensure that its system also works beyond the European Union, said Reuters on Monday.
The pass would provide proof that a person has been vaccinated, the results of tests for those not yet vaccinated and information on people's recovery from the virus.
"The aim is to gradually enable them to move safely in the European Union or abroad - for work or tourism," Commission president Ursula von der Leyen tweeted on Monday.
However, it is not yet clear whether vaccinated people can still transmit the virus to others and there are concerns of potential travel discriminations against those who have not been inoculated.
The Commission said it wanted to avoid such discriminations.

DaggerM,
IG is my broker and IG provide free charts when I opened account them. I think most brokers provide free basic charts.
There is option in IG to go for professional charting package for monthly fees of £30. Again this fee will be waived if you do 5 trades in previous month. I opted free charts and they are more than sufficient for my trading needs.
