Will it test 460p today/tomorrow?
With so much good news from southern Europe about holiday season starting in next couple of months, there is certainly more scope for TUI to rise towards 488-499. But steady rise towards 460p today/tomorrow and then 490s later in the week will be reasonable to expect?
dyor.
I am still struggling to understand how this b-b guy trades. He buys with good intention of holding long/medium term. He starts writing here lot of good stuff after his buy. But as soon as he is in couple of pennies in profit or if there is bit of negative news and sp starts retracing, he sells in panic and starts writing negative stories on this bb!!
And then.....
As soon as he sells in panic, IAG sp starts going up! He gets more frustrated and starts writing weird stuff on this bb!!
I think he needs rest, bit of break from trading and think over what wrong he is doing and come back with fresh mind either in IAG or other shares he likes.
Travel industry urges Biden administration to establish vaccine passport guidelines
More than a two-dozen travel industry groups and labor unions on Monday urged the Biden administration to issue guidelines for Covid-19 vaccine passports, in hopes that a uniform system will help customers feel more comfortable booking trips again.
A host of platforms around the world are helping travelers upload test results and soon, proof of vaccinations, as part of a push toward some kind of Covid-19 health credential, or CHC.
“The current diverse and fragmented digital health credentials used to implement different countries’ air travel testing requirements risk causing confusion, reducing compliance, and increasing fraud,” said the travel groups in a letter Monday to Jeff Zients, the White House’s Covid-19 recovery team coordinator.
International air travel remains extremely depressed because of entry bans and other restrictions but airlines, in particular, have been hopeful that vaccine passports will reopen borders.
“By quickly establishing federal guidelines for CHCs, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ... can help lead the global discussion, increasing certainty that test results are legitimate, prioritizing passenger privacy, improving operational efficiency for the aviation industry ecosystem, and strengthening protections against importation of the virus,” the groups said.

Most positive thing is Dow, sp500 is rising and tech heavy Nasdaq is dropping. Most big tech shares are falling. This is exactly opposite to march 2020 when world was coming to standstill in March 2020 due to covid.
So clearly money is coming out of tech shares and going into traditional economy shares.
I think we are on safe footing and may not see iag sp below 200. Also it seems we will test 220 or higher first, before testing 205p.
All imho, dyor. My opinions are biased as I am too heavily invested here.
Good to see this close above 212p which is proving to be minor resistance.
Close above 212p today and open above 214 tomorrow would be fantastic, then attack on 220p tomorrow afternoon.
my wishful thinking, so dyor.

After the classic tree shake on Friday afternoon, us markets closed up on Friday. 1.9tn stimulus package passed by US government. Ftse futures were up about 75.
So unless there is something bad news specific to airlines sector today or tomorrow morning then iag and other airlines should be up 3-5% and this bb or anyone can’t stop that. Simples!
