Oxford Biomedica will be added to the FTSE 250 index, effective from the market open on Monday, September 22, 2025. Can see this getting closer to the new price target once the tracker funds start buying.

The only news I can find is that Anglo are selling their remaining shares in Valttera. Why that would create such a spike I am unsure.

I think you are correct regarding the initial dividend for the stand alone company. Hoping the next one will be significantly more if Platinum prices remain at a similar level.

Good point Nihar, but if you look at the cv of management. They appear to be professional directors and not investors. They seem to be doing a good job but I don’t think they want to own more than the company share scheme allows. Could be wrong and stand to be corrected.

It’s a strange one how time works. I waited for months with anticipation of the SC ruling and the week before the time flew by. I was tempted this morning to post something to the effect of we need an RNS from management or the SP will keep drifting down. It just seems ages since the ruling and in fact it’s only two weeks. So with an update due in September why would management break cover.

Chid seems to think Berkshire Hathaway are washed up, however, I think wisdom remains.

I agree. My Bumblings are probably tiresome. I had a spot of cancer last year and the treatment has left me a little tired. I have to read documents several times and find it more difficult to articulate my interpretation of the contents other than in simple terms. A lot of wild speculation going on today. The boffins at CBG who have access to the loan book will have run this through their algorithms PRIOR to the SC ruling and came up with £165m. Two of the three cases the SC looked at were thrown out. I imagine they are running it through the computer again and the computer is saying…. What are we going to do with the left over money 💰
