I’m probably miles off the mark but when I read about Lloyd’s looking at Schroders Personal Wealth I just couldn’t help feeling Close Brothers would be a perfect fit at a bargain price of £1b. Anybody know if Schroders is a done deal? I know Lloyds are desperate to push private banking. Just a thought.

I’m sure SLE will have a Tenancy Agreement but my experience of serviced offices is you use them so you don’t have to worry about insurance, rates etc. The Management Company usually deals with that as part of the service charge. Obviously could be different in Ireland and Dublin is expensive. But €400k just doesn’t wash.

There is a third conclusion that can be drawn. The rates bill can be disputed! They have a small serviced office and get rates of €400k really? It would look to me they have been charged for the whole office complex combined.

You dismissed my comments about the City West office and now it seems important. Strange how a busy week in Largos looks.

This isn’t really providing information and getting a bit frustrating. I’m interested because it was one of the first companies I invested in. With the market near all time highs it doesn’t really matter to me but I understand others may be more invested.
