No. My portfolio is overweight in BLR and Petrel, apart from the fact I don't currently have spare cash. My head tells me it is probably a good time to buy. My gut is concerned by the lack of recent market reaction to BLR. I'm sticking with BLR for 1 to 2 years.

Lupupa On the face of it what you are saying seems correct. I'm still on a learning curve. Is it not in itself a significant announcement that Ecopetrol have to make the announcement ? In other words if there was nothing of interest in the well would ECOpetrol have become involved ?It does however seem right that BLR should have clarified, at the time of their recent announcement, that Eco would be involved.

I do not see that lack of news at this stage is a concern - more a matter of suspense - and frankly I won't be surprised if it takes months for news.

jimarillo I have made some large buys (40,000 and others) in the last few days - purely a gamble which I accept I may lose and reluctantly can afford to do so. As one who has been burnt in the past due to being carried away by speculation I just wanted to share my perspective. Nevertheless, I still think it is a good bet.
