They don't really discuss sales ( now) too much on here, just the future, up to 2035 sometimes
But I still think BMN is a fantastic long term investment ( can't put number of years on it though, hope next year a start) as long as the V price goes up in the short term, which everyone knows but doesn't seem to like mentioned.

Since December '18 I have only had 'sadfacesyndrome' as my investment has halved, but, each time I refresh I almost get butterflies in anticipation of great news and the possibilty of a u-turn on the SP.

Gosh Minikaman, halved and you're still fairly relaxed, watching each day. I'm the same, look every hour probably and i bought at 22.6p so really feel for you. It's ok for a lot of the long termers on here, as many bought at 3p, 6p, 10p etc so haven't too much too worry about.
Everyone wants to see postive RNS soon, so would I, but I have a feeling that even if there is good positive ( revenue stuff now or soon, not next year etc) that they might hold it back to align it with the year end figures, to kind of balance out the bad woth the good. Imagine an new investor buying in off of great news only to be hit with lower than projected year end figures.

@Alwaysone ... so you just demonstrate 2 things with your talke or ARM woe . First, you have no investment ability and seconds, you are a panicky trader.
ARM Holding rapidly reached over 400 in the months after you bought, and by 2016 when taken private was 1700.

I didn't have the assets/cash to finance £30K on paper
It took nearly a year to get back to the same price and in 2016 was bought at a value circa £44 from memory

Keeping my fingers crossed Daddy - waiting for bid of 21p -- unless it goes flying through that ; )

What needs to be happen can be simplified in a couple of sentences. The companies recent acquisitions and investments need to be converted into tangible income streams which will be done via contracts, agreements, sales , leasung etc. An increase in the price of Vanadium would help short to medium term but the price of Vanadium does not move around like AIM shares , think of a supertanker turning.

Largo had a high of 4.49 at 8 Nov and after the price increase today is 1.15, that's about 75% down.
BMN had a high of 44.5p on 16 Nov 18 and is 21p, so about 53% down.
Not that the two companies are that comparable aside from Vanadium prices

Ecofin Agency) - Bushveld Minerals, the biggest vanadium producer in South Africa, says it has postponed its second listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange to next year.

According to local media, the company which is listed on London’s Alternative Investment Market, wants to first complete and integrate the recent acquisition it made on 2 May 2019 for $65 million before proceeding with the Initial Public Offering.


Bushveld believes this takeover, whose completion is set for October this year, will lift the company among the largest vanadium producers worldwide. But it still has a long way to go before it hits target. Revenues in Q1 2019 slid by 8.6% to $74.3 million compared to Q1 2018; and that of the second quarter 2019 were down 36.2% compared to the previous quarter. This reflects a very bad financial performance.

Yet, Bushveld is doing pretty well in London with the fifth bullish day in a row. But this interest of investors seems to be driven mainly by the prospects of increases in the price of vanadium, combined with the fact that the integration of the May 2, 2019 acquisition into the initial public offering could increase the value of the shares put up for sale.

Yep you couldn't make it up. V price is the same as when the supposed two trade purchases were made if not up slightly in Europe. Now supposedly BMN are in a death spiral.
Everyone saw this person as a wrong 'un and now Fizzy and friends can review the credibility or stupidity expecting big movements in a few weeks.

Purchases (2) were based on a heresay tip on bullish news pre Christmas The only bull was no news!

In the dark times some of us were well north of £50k underwater.
Stick to the post office son.
If they haven't dropped yet steer clear of the stock markets, especially AIM.

My caution is borne out if ‘trading’ many years ago after being sucked in by a friend and learned a lot the hard way.But it wasn’t ‘investing’. My last ever trade was a company called Arm Holdings around 2004. They did T20 contract notes back then were you didn’t have to settle until 20 days after buying. My favour growth share was Arm and on one evening I bought £30k at roughly 93p each at 4pm and at 8am the following morning they had a profit warning and dropped 40%. I couldn’t keep the shares at the £30k level due to personal circumstances so took the hit.
I never bought another share since that day until now and grimaced each year when I looked at Arm prices Hence my caution now and not ‘trading’
I recall two other shares that were heavily promoted at the time, Minmet if any of you recall in the Mail on Sunday...went bust and Eurasia Mining, who seem to be on a bit of a run after all these years.There ends my story, believe what you will!

If this is your belief, why sell for a loss when you could make a killing?

If what I said about year end and 2020, first 6 months V price. Make up a share price of 15p which might take a year to get to price now.
Use cash now to ( hopefully) make back loss and profit in that period.
Can always buy back in when things looking better on V price but timing key. All guess work of course!

Well, I’m posting this whilst still holding since early December. Bought on basis of so called big news but good company as well. No news of course which I thought might be Eskom.

Buying in at an average of 22.6p on two trades, it’s been not been fun, especially as I listed 9 other Aim shares on my Hargreaves tracker that week. Seven are up, they range from 3% to 13%, one down 4%.
On viewing every video online about BMN and news flashes and financials on their site. One thing is clear. They have a great future and could be huge in a few years.
But short term, with the year end coming up, and looking at sales and profits last year, 2019 mid year and the broker revised profit forecasts. Thrse were all bard on Vanadium price of circa $45 ( without the US surcharge)
The V price has been sub $30 for dime time now and closer to $22 for a few months and that’s into new fiscal year 2020.
So, I’m worried still really about the year end numbers ( especially a warning) and 2020 forecast as V price still the prevailing factor. I know all the other stuff but most is jam tomorrow.
I should have sold at 21p when the MMs had that shake out but wanted to get my money back, bad move. Waited for 21p and that seems some way off but would be well happy you write off at that level but don’t think will reach it.
Still hoping to get 21p, I’ve nearly taken 20.5p a couple of times but hate writing off the money. Will take 21p if offers this week as this one is looks like a slippery slide and those results could make 20.5p look handsome and don’t wish to have money tied up on paper say a year until V prices get to circa $40.
Everyone will say I’m a shorter but that’s natural I guess with my comments.
I know not many others will see it anyway as another 100 posting posts will clear it hence I don’t mind posting while holding
I don’t want to be like that poor chap eating to get his money back from 30p levels.
Notice most of the bulk trades are sells. I’m guessing the professional traders or insiders. Life in the stock market is fun, but not in this one. Lesson learned.

Sharesaplenty. What you describe is exactly what I have experienced. It really is extreme and shouldn’t be tolerated by LSE.

@Sanchez599. You’ve misinterpreted my post or more likely I wrote it badly. The mention of 10p, was saying that if the company was to make a loss 2019 year then its business set up and potential is worth that alone. Of course it will make a decent profit for the year, just lower than forecast and that’s the rest of the price. The 10p was a figure plucked out of the air to show its business model and set up is worth that price ( or more) if there wasn’t any profit at all ( which there is of course). Hopefully the market has already built in the V price drop enough already to the share price. Especially if there was an earnings update RNS which normally has short time negative effect. After ARM years back, that’s my only worry.
It’s a positive point comparing the potential here to ARM with how the price went to above $40 over the years and I bought ( but trading then as not cash to hand ) at 90p.

Lastly one as not nice when a holder and keep being told I’m not. Spent time every day reading up on BMN, too long when still working.

@orphidian. Point taken. There is only one issue and I do mean one only that is of potential concern. And that is short term ( 3 months primarily) potential price due to the V price and company forecasts vs actual results. Q1 could also be impacted by the V price and onwards until the other various businesses as well highlighted each day bring value into the revenue stream. The margin at $22 V vs production at $19 ( all approx) is tight even with $10 US surcharge. Value on future earnings ( which will be huge long term) will be built into the share price I’d think but just trying to balance future revenues and margins vs now to say 3-6 months.
Some people might say the future value of the company is worth paying 10p per share now even trading at a loss. I really don’t know and just thought some on here might have an insight.
And that is my last Kit Kat ( which I like) and you’ll be pleased on the break. Unless someone has another attack and then I can’t off promise.

I’m not saying it while I’m holding shares. If you can’t read between the lines then I’m lost as to why.
That typo post also mentioned the 82p house broker forecast. A few of you have written things on here in the past that you’d be embarrassed if reposted. I can show but won’t.
