The bonds might be trading at ~25 cents but the bond market for distressed companies is way less liquid than equity. Bid-ask spreads are wide (you can see it in the numbers), and thatβs a big reason bondholders aren't selling quickly. If you hold and things recover more, you might end up closer to par (or at least much higher), so why sell now at a discount when thereβs potentially more on the table?
@PC if Petrofac is your second largest bond holding and you dont see a recovery then why are you not selling now before it goes to zero?
